I received the system with a dent in the front, and a piece of the system broken, or hanging off in the back. The USB ports were also rotting out, and filthy. I think most "game stores" will do, and say anything to make a profit. As a gamer, and collector myself for more than 30 years I would never have accepted anything like that from a customer if I was running a store. That and they claim they "fully refurbish, test, and clean all consoles" no they don't, or else I wouldn't have received a system that bad. It was also poorly packed btw, with only a couple of thin layers of bubble wrap (and I mean thin) and some popcorn styrofoam thrown on top of the box. Which is one of the reasons why the system was broken in the back, though I have suspicions about that the huge dent in front of the system was already there BEFORE it shipped. I honestly wish I had taken some photos, but I was so mad at receiving something that bad after spending 347.00 I couldn't even see straight. Play station 4 is a really great game console. I bought one for myself and my son. We play games together and he also enjoys playing them on his own. It’s really slim and doesn’t take up too much space. It came with 2 controllers and they are wireless. It comes with cords u just plug into the game console to charge the controllers. You just have to read the back of the games because although some of the games you can just put in and play, some of the games are required to have Wi-Fi in order to play some of them. I love their graphics and again I love that the system is so slim and compact. It doesn’t take up much space at all and it’s very light as well. Maybe just a few lbs.

It clocks a low 60 FPS and the PS5 clocks 120 FPS + but hear me out… most BIG NAME TITLES like Call Of Duty are still available to play on the Playstation 4. The Playstation 4 Pro specifically has a “boost setting” and a “supersampling setting” which is huge because the slim and the 1st version don’t have that. The fans don’t kick on as much as the Slim version either.. but they still do kick on when you’re playing games made for new gen. The The Playstation 4 Pro is also better than Playstation 4 Slim because the Slim had trouble with wifi issues and completely frying. Our family is still rocking the Sony PS4. We have had it for 6 years. Games are played almost everyday and there are a wide variety of them. The whole family plays. We especially like the Lego games as they entertain both kids and adults. There’s humor built into them and you can relive your favorite movie by following the storylines in the game. We also don’t have to worry about parental controls on the Lego games. We were a bit disappointed when Lego Dimensions discontinued new product development, but we still use the old ones. I’d recommend a gaming system for the whole family and this one doesn’t disappoint.

Buyer be very careful

I genuinely feel like i was LIED TO !Item was used / refurbished at best.The item is described as New, There was no OEM BOX. It came with an incorrect controller charging cable, and everything was unbelievably STICKY with who KNOWS WHAT !!I am disappointed about not receiving what item was described to be. Not having the OEM Box was fine, Incorrect charging cable, irritating.My issue is, the box it was shipped in was the only box used to protect the console and other items. It was barley big enough to fit and was shipped in glorified Saran wrap %26 tapeI have items now, for further testing and observation purposes.

Great item - some maintenance required

The PS4 arrived quick and apart from a couple of minor cosmetic issues (some red crayon on the casing and grime on the controller) was in good condition. Til I turned it on. The thing had clearly never been maintained - sounded like a jet engine and kept overheating. Turns out the internals were absolutely clogged with dust and the thermal paste needed replacing. All in all, it took me about £25 to fix up. A bit annoying, but expected with a 7 year old console. On the upside, the PS4 Pro is very straightforward to clean, just bear in mind that this is something you will probably have to do for yourself if you want it to run well.

However, because it's an old ps console, it is hard to say this seller kept it clean, like 95% cleaned N the daulshock seems good but light and feels good at pressing button and it's better than any fake controllers I've seen so far N yet he sure know how to sell with respect way. However, wires aren't the same one that was originally from Sony but he at least gives us everything that we need and the usb isn't ps4's usb and it's too short to connect with your controller 😅 but at least this guy tried his best to keep it everything that we need and yet he selling these ps4 pro way too cheap so yeah but ut before it's too late because ps5 is mot everything if ya think ps5 is the only ps5 is the best console you are completely mistaken. Let me start off with the delivery. It was impressively quick, I ordered on Wednesday and it came early morning the next day.While this is overall a good product, there are some criticisms for both Sony and CeX that might help others when deciding if they should buy this.The design of the ps4 is obviously amazing, the colours are great and go nicely together. However, there are quite a few scratches on the top plate, this was expected as it is second hand and doesn't affect performance.The price was quite reasonable and the box that it came in was in good condition which is nice for collectors.The 1tb storage is a nice upgrade over the standard ps4 and the addition of 4k is also nice. That's really my only criticism for CeX based on this purchase.Now onto Sony. The internal design of the ps4 pro is horrible, at least the first version (7116B), I know they slightly improved it with later models. There are no vents at the back of the console, the only vents are at the sides and they are very small, the original ps4 had more vents.The thermal paste Sony uses is not only bad, its also applied very poorly resulting in the console heating up quicker and also makes the fan work a lot harder so the console is loud regardless of if it's clean or not. If you buy this, I definitely recommend changing the thermal paste, I have not gotten around to doing it yet but definitely will soon. Based on the research I've done, this greatly helps reduce the heat and noise of the console.Overall though, it's not a bad product, however, it might be better sticking with a ps4 slim as the pro isn't really that much of an improvement, really the only addition is 4k which cause the fan to go crazy on certain games, the ps4 pro handles higher frames better than it does 4k and most games still run at 30fps just like on the standard ps4 and ps4 slim, it's usually just steadier with less frame drops.
