Well balanced, sturdy shovel with the perfect angle for comfortable shovelling. Appears well made but it's a bit early to rate reliability. Price is good value.

I haven't used it yet, got it to clear mud from the drain in the park across the road because it gets blocked in heavy rain. But it looks strong and sturdy. The handle has a good feel and grip. You really can't fault it for the price. I think it would last a long time. Very happy with it and very happy about the service and very quick delivery, thanks Mitre 10.

Easy to use, light but perfect with a great handle for making digging easy.I would recommend this product
I bought this shovel to help clear soil from a shed base I'm constructing, I used a mattock to break up the dirt and the shovel to move it unfortunately it didn't last the day as the wooden handle snapped when I hit a root, prior to this the shovel was excellent and picked up an awesome amount of soil.Hopefully the 15 year gurantee covers this
Stuck on a job with 20 tonne of sand to move and no access for digger. Went to Screwfix Gainsborough and chap behind counter was very helpful and allowed me to look at several different shovelsBought two - they did the job, did not bend and comfortable to use (although digger would have been much easier!)
Had to dig out enough soil to place 60 slabs, this shovel was great. Pretty lightweight and big enough for a decent scoop of soil. Blade hasn’t really taken and damage too.
Good shovel, not as solid as I thought it would be but does a half decent job. Good if you just want a quick cheap shovel but I wouldn’t say it’s super heavy duty.
Great build quality.Tough, reliable and strong.Easy to recommend to anyone who wishes to move stuff - sand, aggregate etc quickly with no fuss.
I purchased this shovel to complete a renovation on my garden. It is well made and sturdy and easy to handle - good grip. I have used it for shovelling hard-core, sand and top soil and it has done a brilliant job. It is actually still like new and I'm sure it will outlive me. Have now lent it to my daughter for her garden renovation. Would definitely recommend this
