Great Classic Style But Maddening Squeaks

The leather, soles and stitching all look top-notch and I love the classic styling, but the shoes squeak so embarrassingly that they are essentially unwearable; I finally had to return them. There seem to be two sources of the squeaks: walking surface and foam innersole. Most surfaces are fine but the soles squeaked like crazy on the polished concrete at work no matter how carefully I tread. I liked the shoes so much I simply stopped wearing them to work. The big problem relates to the inner soles: there seem to be pockets that trap air. If I step slowly, there is a sigh of air escaping. The harder and faster I step, the higher-pitched the squeak. I wore socks and the shoes never got wet. I love this Dillard's.

These Sperry's are a great color. I purchased them for my 17 year old grandson. He loved them with his Kaki pants. The older lady who works in the shoe department is wonderful. She is so knowledgeable about brand name shoes. Her experience and personality is a great asset for Dillard's. I always seek her when I am purchasing men shoes.

It only took 5 wears for these shoes to come apart

My high school Junior wore these shoes for 5 days and the soles are detaching from the shoes exactly the way the other reviewers are stating. I am extremely disappointed. My son has been wearing Sperry boat shoes for as long as I can remember and I have never seen anything like this. Please do better.

Regrettable quality reduction

Dear Macy’s Customer Service,I have been purchasing these shoes for the last 12 years and have always been satisfied with their quality. However, I am utterly disappointed with the last pair I acquired in November, as they fell apart after only a few uses.This is regrettable because I love the design and comfort of these shoes. To give you an idea of the issue, I am uploading images of the pair that broke—similar to the experiences of many other customers—and a pair that is almost three years old and used daily, which is still in good condition.Given this stark difference in quality, I wish to get a refund or replacement with a quality product.I wish to get a refund or replacement with the quality product.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Weak sole

These were my fave pair of summer shoes until a big chunk of the sole randomly fell off as I was walking down the street. I didn't stub my toe or walk over anything; the front just fell off. I purchased these in March and have been wearing them on and off for the past few months. I've bought numerous Sperry boat shoes over the years and never had an issue until today.
