Spicebomb Infrared for Men Eau De Parfum Spray 90 ml by Viktor & Rolf

Great flanker to the original spicebomb. This one to me smells a bit less sweet on the drydown than the Extreme version. Drydown is still quite similar to my nose. Spicy warm cinnamon which is great for winter/fall. The big difference is the opening. Infrared has more of a red-fruity opening. I like both versions, but it's redundant to own both since they're very similar to each other. Try them out in a store and see which one you like best. Performance is absolutely mental, I can smell it after 12 hours on my skin fairly strong. I think projection is very high first hour or two and then becomes moderate for 4-6 hours. After that it's a (fairly strong) skin scent.

The only thing that makes it seem less exciting is that the EDT is a richer and better-balanced release, which is the opposite of what we might expect.

My first impression opening this box was that the packaging is SO beautiful. The bottle feels thick and heavy in your hand. Everything from the unique shape to the dangling charm that stops it from spraying accidentally looks so luxurious and really stands out on a perfume/cologne shelf. The scent itself is the perfect spicy, manly scent I imagine when I think of cologne. It has notes of red pepper, leather, and tobacco that blend together perfectly. I gave this to my boyfriend and love the way it smells on him. When mixed with other sweeter colognes it combines for an unmatched sweet and spicy smell. This is perfect for date night or even just an everyday wear. Everything about this cologne is decadent and sexy and just perfect if spicy scents are your thing.

V&R Spicebomb is an iconic fragrance loved by many; how can one take an already seductive scent and make it even better? Enter Infrared. The fragrance notes, on my skin, are an immediate tobacco and cinnamon spice. This dries down nicely to a deeper saffron and mildly peppery, fruity note. Overall this Eau de Parfum lasts about 6-8 hours; the Cinnamon being the largest differentiated note that you’ll notice all throughout wearing. I really enjoy this iteration and it’s perfect for Fall and Winter, it evokes extra cozy ‘nights by the fireplace’ vibes and it’s a definite must have for those who love V&R’s other Spicebomb takes or for those looking for something a little more unique to the ‘cooler months’.

I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. This fragrance is one of our favorites. My husband and I really love it and it’s very shareable. The packaging is super cool and it’s a great size. The scent itself is spicy but not too masculine with a little sweetness to it. It’s perfect for fall but we love it year round. We definitely recommend this one!

[Rewarded Review] Strong and Unique!

It’s an incredibly strong scent that hits you as soon as it’s sprayed. Very spicy, the utmost masculine. It does eventually settle into a nice spiced wood tone and then somehow sweetens a bit but this is definitely not for everyone. There is a small selection of people that can wear this. It’s strong enough to cover lingering body odor I would say. If this was a candle, I would like it. It has a very cabin in the woods, fire and smoke, cinnamon and clove cigar vibe (Seasons: Autumn and Winter). But as a cologne it’s too strong and won’t meld well with most people’s natural scent. I don’t recommend buying this blind. Go to the store or grab a sample and smell it first.

Can I just start at Wow and end at Sensual?This fragrance by Viktor & Rolf is a combination of smoky pepper and leather. This is seriously a luxurious take on masculinity -- only gets better as your body heats up. I sprayed this indoors, thought it smelled like spicy cinnamon, but wow was I wrong! Once I stepped outside and into the sunlight, the profile changed and it turned into this spicy seductive and sensual fragrance. For sure to turn heads 😉Last thing: very important to get the full experience to apply it to areas of the body that heat up quick (i.e. lower neck, chest, under the elbow). I noticed as I applied to my wrists, the fragrance quickly washed away.
