I bought it today to tackle an overgrown section - was a little worried that I might have bought something underpowered for the job - however it did a great job, very happy with my purchase - I struggled to assemble so went back to the store and the team at Mitre10 put it together for me.

I have been using the trimmer for over a year. Pretty good build. Very handy to take it around the garden cos its battery powered. And battery lasts more than 30 mins, I only use this to cut the edge of the lawns and near trampoline. I highly recommend this. It might feel a bit heavy if you are using it for long time, try to hold it close to your body then it ll be all good.

Very pleased with the Line Trimmer. Performs really well. Can do entire section on Low on one charge (approx 45 mins running time). Very powerful on low. Light and easy to use. Love you can buy an additional battery separately if required.

I bought this recently and registered it for an extended warranty, and as soon as I started using it, I was impressed with it's power. I had a petrol line trimmer for years and it's always been a hassle for me mixing petrol and oil, starting headache that gives me hand blisters, and not to mention smoke whilst it was running. I have been looking around for cordless line trimmer and this is the only one I found on the market that has a dual line bump feed spool. Single line spool cordless line trimmer simply would not cut the grass but it will just tickle them to death. I just wish that this has a clip mount for a harness as this can get tiring to carry for a long period of time. Have used the battery powered weed trimmer a few times now and have been pleasantly surprised by how much power it has, and so easy to start, also love the extendable shaft to suit my height, no more searching for spark plugs, petrol and pulling the start cord until your arm is ready to fall off, I won’t go back to a petrol model again
Great line trimmer, just charge and go. Does plenty of trimming on one charge.
Have a few other fat max tools, so thought I'd give this a go after a corded nightmare unit. Really enjoy using this and more powerful then I thought it would be.
Good tool . Manages my semi wild garden easily. No information on the cutting head in the pack. Had to Google head supplier for loading instructions. Nothing on the Stanley site.
Has the right balance & is easy to sweep about. Tilting for edging is OK once you get the hang of it.
I upgraded to this model from another brand's 18v brushed and was pleasantly surprised by the extra power brushless can provide. My yard isn't that large (about 120msq of lawn plus footpath for a corner block) but has a few tough spots which this unit handles with ease. I rarely have to resort to the higher gear and can get the job done on one charge. Its noticeably bigger and sturdier than my old unit but not too heavy or unwieldy
