So he was like “what color?” And I said “if you have pink??” And he gave it to me. As I was unwrapping it and chewing a student came out of the darkroom with a print asking my opinion. And I’m still chewing the starburst and excused myself for that to him but was confused because the WHOLE image was blurred. And I was like, “which assignment is this for?” He says “minimum depth of field”. In my head I’m like, is this kid serious?? And I asked him how it fits the criteria. He points at 1 part “that is sharp and the rest is blurry”. I was still chewing the starburst and say “this looks sharp to you?” he says “yes!” So I go “listen, nothing in this image is sharp” he actually tried arguing it with me. And I say “look, we will show the teacher when she comes out and I’m pretty sure she will agree with me” he still kept trying to convince me that there was anything sharp in that image so unfortunately I got the point that I couldn’t help but laugh (not AT him, but just because it felt so silly) and I had started to swallow the starburst. As I’m laughing the starburst gets caught in my throat I COULD NOT BREATHE. Most of the class was in that room with me as I start gasping for air, one girl got up ran shouted nurse (which I will never forget her for doing that) and a good minute I’m standing there gasping for air, not sure why none of the kids thought to get the teacher who was in the darkroom totally unaware of what was happening and I’m thinking “this is how I’m gonna die, in front of a class of high school kids from choking on a starburst?!?!” I see my water bottle and tried to drink it some went down thank goodness I did that because it must’ve moistened the starburst so it moved enough and a few seconds later I finally swallowed it and could breathe. The nurse and student come in she made me sit down was taking my blood pressure (I told her it finally went down). As she’s checking my throat the teacher comes out of the darkroom and asks “what the heck is going on?!???” And I was so beyond embarrassed plus even just a minute of gasping for air with a blockage, hurts your throat like hell so talking hurt so the girl who got the nurse told her and she looks at the class and asks “why didn’t anyone get me?!?” And they all just sat there and I realized they were in shock, that’s why they just sat there that whole time. So that’s the starburst story. I do eat them now, but very carefully if anyone is present I tell them to not make me laugh. The student who was arguing his photo which caused me to laugh wrote in my yearbook “sorry I almost made you die in class” lol

Always Fresh& Great to travel with- never smashed!

Always fresh & I love that they come in a container instead of a bag.(re-use plastic container to hold nails or screws, or can store pasta in them too) So much easier to screw on the lid to keep them fresh. Maybe they should sell a bigger ‘share’ size! :) 54 oz or 3.5lbs of cherry, orange, strawberry & lemon yumminess! (Made with natural and artificial flavors & a big scoop of preservative’s!)

Awful

The item was supposed to be a bag of starburst as depicted in the photo. What I received was a few starburst wrapped in a clear plastic bag. I’m shocked that this is what I received and would absolutely never eat food received in this manner. Even the colors of the individual starburst wrappers were not normal. Extremely disappointed, would not purchase anything from this seller again.

One Flavor is Exceptional

I don't know if the machinery at the plant is set up to put the same amounts in the jars, but there 89 each of the strawberry and lemon, 66 tangerine flavored and 57 cherry flavored. I don't know what the cause was, but the strawberry and the cherry flavors are not the same. They used to be the best ones, but now the strawberry squares taste like the smell of a cheap antiseptic bathroom cleaner, and the cherry tastes like Hi-C Punch mixed with some strong artificial fLavors, like the smell of machinery after it has been greased. I removed the offensive strawberry squares and that was 1/3 of the jar. I thought I was getting a better deal by ordering this, but it turned out to be the company's way of getting rid of bad flavors. Stuck to wrapper

The wrappers of the sweets were very difficult to unwrap so if I was a mum I think Id find it annoying to have to unpick the wrappers from the sweets for my kids. I liked the purple, red, green and orange flavors. It would be nice if there was lemon and raspberry flavors too. They are quite sticky on the teeth but are a nice small size for a treat.

As soon as I pop the chewable candy in my mouth, it gave me a burst of flavor. I can taste the sweet flavors of cherry, orange, strawberry, and lemon. Each chewable melts in my mouth leaving me wanting for more. It is like gum only better! The candy taste like fruit juices, so soft and chewy! Yummy! Each piece candy is individually wrapped making it convenient for me to carry around in my purse. It also comes in a nice resealable pouch that hold lots of candy. Great to share with everyone!

okay but

I received these via a coupon in return for a review. It is quite hard to buy vegan sweets so we were quite looking forward to these. I found them quite nostalgic paper wrappers that are hard to remove, sticking to your teeth sweetness and flavours I remember from my childhood. But that is the problem the orange and lemon & lime ones are very good, but the others, despite being made from actual fruit juice, were bland and unconvincing. None of us were overly impressed, and while they were fine none of us would buy them.
