Fast shipping,as described great quality n very durable. Was so shocked how thick n well made these are. The seal on them is awsom! I haven't ran them thru dishwasher or microwave or oven yet. But I did fill them with water turn then up side down shoock em prety good and no leaks you can tell the seal was made very well you can tell it would take a lot of use n abuse to mess them up. Doesn't mean over time n heat n warping with inproper care might happen eventualy but these are the best and worth the cost compared to the cheap crap on amazon. I will b saving up to buy more over time to save the planet n waist crisis n these are healthier to store ur for in anyway.

I cannot tell you how much I love these enough! They hold water and seal w/o issue. Iāve tried filling it and shaking it upside down over a sink ā seriously, not an ounce of water came out. I use them for everything: Seasoning meat, keeping celery/carrots/mushrooms from going bad, but mostly to keep my kale and spinach from dying as soon as I bring it home. I also use them in the freezer for frozen veggies and fruits. I have the mini ones too, that fit in your pocket, theyāre perfect for medicine and tea bags (2 things a chronically Iāll person like me ALWAYS has on them). Do yourself a favor and by as many as you can, create a collection & never stop prolonging your produce & food.

We use our Stasher half-gallon bags for all stages of sous vide cooking to make life easier and not use disposable plastics. For example, weāll buy a large filet and divide it into two Stasher half-gallon bags, adding lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and maybe other seasonings, and put them in the fridge for a few hours. Then we cook them in the hot water, eat the fish from one of the bags, and put the other bag of cooked fish into the freezer for an east meal a week or two later. We rinse the excess debris out of the bag and put it over three or four prongs on the lower rack of the dishwasher because our top rack doesnāt have enough vertical space.

Iām trying to eliminate plastics from my life! These bags are helping me do that. Pricey but not when I consider how many boxes of plastic bags Iāve used over the years! They donāt absorb odors, and I havenāt had any staining, but they do become foggy after a few uses. They seal well and are perfect for freezing cookies! I have freezer drawers in the bottom of a French door fridge, so itās nice to have bags that stack and save storage space. Much better than my round glass bowls that donāt store well!
I wasnāt going to spend what I imagine would be wasted time on contacting Stasher to express my disappointment with this product! It certainly did not live up to the hype of keeping food tasting as they did prior to being frozen! They didnāt necessarily have freezer burn, just came out bland and stale tasting. I froze FRESH made from scratch Scones that I purchase from a local Baker. A batch costs $25. The whole reason I went with Stasher, despite other companies offering cheaper similar products was because I believed it would be better quality, resulting in superior results! Stasher has helped me organize my fridge in the best ways possible. I have a shallow fridge and they help keep things compact too. They keep veggies and fruits fresher than in-store packaging. I love that! Also great for kid snacks on the go or on demand from the fridge. They are well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that they stain easily. I put some acorn squash in one and it stained after just a few hours. They are also hard to dry. I'm considering getting a special rack with pegs to turn them upside down for fear moisture will collect inside in between washing and use.
Everyday, I āmeal prepā for my horse in my Stashers. He gets feed that needs to soak in 6 cups of hot water. For years, Iāve used hard plastic containers that have variously leaked, melted, and spilled all over my car. Stashers have been the perfect solution!! They never leak. They wonāt break in the barn. Theyāre easy to clean. All my barn friends are buying them too!!Now I need some for MY snacks :)
I don?t prepare sous vide or boiling very often, but this is an invaluable type of bag to have around for those methods. For storage, I think it?s what Stasher calls a quart size bag on their website. I think it?s a little impaired compared to the stand-up bags Stasher has, really most useful for storing flatter foods. Like, I?ll freeze half a dozen cookies or use it for grapes or grilled chicken or carrot sticks. If you need to store food with a little height, it?s not as versatile as other Stasher options. I wouldn?t go for this as your first try at replacing plastics unless you also planned to use it with sous-vide or boiling methods. For storage, try one of the pleated bottom stand-up Stasher bags SLT sells first.
