There are two reasons to buy this ceramic artichoke cocotte: because when you make something using artichokes you want to be cooked perfectly and presented it just right. Or you just love artichokes (I do too) and you that little bit of green whimsy goes well in your kitchen.This little cocotte is great for the all American Artichoke dip and because you can bake in it too, it can be made and presented in the same dish. Spinach dip and onion dip present beautifully in it too.I use it to serve artichoke soup, a California thing. I've also used them to serve vegetable stews. Between the deep green color and the contrast of vegetables, this fun dish will liven any table.

I crave and adore Staub figurals. It's an affliction. I love them all: the pumpkins, the tomatoes, the gorgeous cocottes with patterned lids. Oh, my goodness! They are all beautiful. Staub quality is apparent in every detail. I have all colors and sizes of the tomatoes and pumpkins, including the ceramic lidded serving bowls, also the Positano cocotte, and my latest purchase of the oval lidded gratin with the carved sea bass in the deep blue La Mer color. This is a lovely shape and the color a deep olive green. I love Le Creuset as well, all those bright, happy colors, but for figural pots, Staub has them beat by a mile. The artichoke design is meticulous from the perfect green color, lid design, curves in the base, down to the cute little handles.Don't be misled by the cute design; this little guy can be a work horse. It has amazing Staub features like the beautiful, chip resistant enameling on the outside. It also has the black interior that doesn't require seasoning, browns beautifully and cleans up easily.My first thought would be serving a party dip. Perfect because it holds its heat so well. But its 3 qt size would also be ideal for soups, stews or even baking bread.

This artichoke cocette is the perfect size to make a single serving of soup or a dip to share as part of an appetizer. Would make a wonderful addition to a charcuterie setting on butcher paper. Love that it can go oven to microwave to dishwasher. So versatile and a vibrant color. Bought another as a gift as well!
I have had a bit of a run at Staub pots recently. For multiple reasons I picked the brand. Regardless, I bought the artichoke whimsey piece on sale and I have been very happy with it, It is attractive, but I have also found it to be great for side dishes like bake beans, etc. but also its taller design for 3 qtrs. has been great for frying. We no longer have a dedicated fryer but this pan has a suitable cast iron temperature gauge such that it has been awesome for frying thanks to its even temperature characteristics and taller shape.
I’m obsessed with the small Staub artichoke serving dish! The quality and craftsmanship are amazing! I bought this little artichoke not only to use for serving warm dips but to display in my one glass cabinet in my kitchen. I’m very pleased and looking forward to adding the tomato and pumpkin to my collection! This is a piece I hope to be able to hand down to one of my children.
Love artichokes to eat! Saw the cocotte and had to have them. (4) I use them for soups, salsas, and dips. I want the 3 qt. Dutch oven to match when I make soup or stew. Great for entertaining, too. Highly recommend.
This charming crockery is one of a kind. It is 16 oz. Mine arrived nicely packaged. No chips or discolorations. It is however more of a deep dark green, say a forest green. My computer screen showed it closer to a medium light green, say an artichoke green. The darker color doesn't show the relief as well. I can see why people comment that they use it for dips on a buffet as it is the perfect size. Would be so cute to have more of these to serve hot meal servings around a table. I bought one to see how I like it and am sold on these cocottes by Staub as to looks and quality. I especially like that the lid is one piece and not with an attached handle that could break. The handles are just long enough to be able to carry with hot pads,
This ceramic artichoke coquette is adorable! It was one of the first things I added to our wedding registry when I decided I wanted Staub products and I’m SO HAPPY to finally have it! It was backordered for nearly a year on Wayfair, but arrived today! It’s a gorgeous color and will look great in my green kitchen. Also a great size perfect for dips or individual servings! I’m so pleased!
This mini cocotte is smaller than I expected (it is MINI! holds one cup, is about the size of a small soup bowl). It is super cute, is a good size for dip appetizer for 4-6 people. The lid does not sit securely on the cocotte like it does for other staub products (such as casserole) but kind of sits on top with small gaps between the lid and the base. The color is uniform— in product photos it looks more variegated than it actually is. I will be using it mostly for its looks, it is just so stinkin cute.
