Staub Pumpkin Cocotte, 24 cm, Cinnamon
The cinnamon-colored cocotte in the shape of a pumpkin is often placed on the table after use in the kitchen. You can stylishly serve delicious braised dishes in it, as cocottes were specifically developed for this purpose in France. They are even used by top chefs like Paul Bocuse because they are made of cast iron, which retains heat exceptionally well and releases it slowly. The round cocotte has a diameter of 24 cm, a height of 15 cm, and a capacity of 3.45 liters. It is suitable for all types of stovetops, including induction cooktops. With two handles on the sides, this Staub braiser is easy to handle. Professionals, hobby cooks, or curious beginners will all benefit and quickly appreciate the advantages of this product. The pumpkin-shaped cocotte is also very robust and easy to clean, as its interior is matte black enamel. This enamel not only enhances the braising effect but also intensifies the natural flavors of meat, vegetables, and all other ingredients, allowing their aromas to unfold optimally. Therefore, your dishes will be particularly flavorful in this Staub cocotte when you invite friends or family over for a meal. Ideal for searing and slow cooking meat, fish, or vegetables. The matte black interior enamel is perfect for achieving a particularly crispy sear and is highly durable. Suitable for all types of stovetops, including induction, and can also be used in the oven or on the grill. The intense color is due to the special majolica enamel.

Love my new Staub pumpkin cast iron Dutch! I have one that I bought over 10 years ago that’s orange which is well used and loved. I love it so much that I wanted another one for soup night- it’s about the beauty, but also the durability and evenness in temperature when cooking. Grew up using cast iron which is timeless; I still use have my grandma’s 6qt. Soup pot from the early 1900s and my dad’s skillet from the 1950s. Definitely recommend the purchase! Love my pumpkins!

The appearance of the cocotte is enough with the brass top contrasting the rust colored pumpkin, but the surprise to me was the depth and variation of the color from deep orange to rust tones. The sheen is simply the grand finale. Used it immediately to make a Fall soup. It didn't disappoint and delivered a full flavored, one pot, meal. Making beef stew in it today! Baking bread in it is in the near future. What a lovely display piece to leave out on the stovetop. Guaranteed to be all you're looking for in a covered, 3.5 qt., Dutch oven.

There are several areas on the handles that did not get the proper enameling. The are also pinhole spots on the outer enameling. I have 4 other Staub enameled cast iron pieces and they are perfectly finished. I also have some ceramic pieces, and they are finished perfectly. When I purchase a Staub product I expect the finish to be perfect.

What a gorgeous and functional piece of art!!! I LOVE my new soup and more Staub dutch oven. We have used it several times slow cooking, medium and medium-high cooking and the exterior is as beautiful as the day we first opened it. The kitchen is so festive and warm. Thank you Staub. If I were you get snd stronger I would have purchased the larger one—can’t go wrong. Get the magnetized wood trivet…it really works well and would make a much appreciated gift for soup makers with cast iron Dutch ovens. Love it too.
This is such an all around awesome Dutch oven! First of all it’s beautiful. Absolutely Beautiful Burnt Orange color and design! Performance is, of course, top notch. These are pricey, but well worth the investment. I’m so happy with my purchase.
Made a creamy chicken soup; it heated perfectly, kept warm on the table for serving and cleaned up beautifully after soaking a little while. Used a wooden spoon for stirring... Just love it and so happy to have it out this season and future years!
I have wanted this piece for a long time. I finally broke fine and purchased it. It is so beautiful! The color is gorgeous and is so perfect for the Fall season.I know Staub makes a great product and I’m looking forward to using my pumpkin for making fall soups and other fall foods.
My first Zwilling order and my first piece of Stub! Everything about the transaction was smooth, delivery was speedy, and the pumpkin is simply gorgeous! Have already made chili in it. It may have been better than chili cooked in the other manufacturer's cast iron Dutch oven😄. Thank you, Zwilling and Staub for a flawless and satisfying first order! 💙
Yes, everyone who comes into my kitchen just loves the Staub Enameled Cast Iron Pumpkin Cocotte; it is right out on the center island, so "Wow & Pow"! Soon, I am planning to actually use it for cooking; maybe Beef Bourguignon, using Williams-Sonoma Bourguignon Cooking Sauce,( if I could find it still offered by your store)! The Pumpkin is especially good for the Fall & it adds such a festive note to events of this time of year!
I purchased the 5 quart Pumpkin Cocotte last month and I have to say it's been an absolute pleasure making my chili's and soups in it. Cleaning this pot is a breeze. I leave it on my stovetop all the time, because it's such a gorgeous piece. I understand this is an expensive purchase, but it will last a lifetime and can be passed on, plus. it's worth every single penny. I wish Staub would make a Christmas Cocotte in the same size. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
