I came across this two-pack of pancake mix by simply searching under the tab for "food" and then "pancake and oatmeal mix". I thought, wow, that's a good deal. When it arrived, however, I saw that the expiration date on the bottom was 12-26-2022. This is intended as a Christmas gift. When I contacted customer support, I got NO HELP. I was told that this was part of the "Barn Sale". However, there was NO MENTION WHATSOEVER on the page where I selected this item that it might be expiring soon. All I was told was that I could return it - at my expense - for a refund. If you really want the flavor of buttermilk and fluffy pancakes .. this isn’t it.At fist bike the taste really hits you! Artificial flavors. So unnecessary. Sorry I wasted quality grass fed butter and pasture eggs and my frozen wild Maine blueberries. Waste!I shoukd have read ingredients first.

I've tried all kinds of mixes, even from local mills, and this is the HANDS DOWN WINNER!!! I bought several other flavors of Stonewall pancake mixes (I still get the pumpkin in the Fall), but the Farmhouse mix was always the one requested for Sunday morning breakfasts. It's also perfect for making Snowman Pancakes in the Winter. (To make Snowman Pancakes, make smaller pancakes for the head and a medium size pancakes for the body so they fit together on the plate. Position cooked bacon for the scarf. Add Chocolate chips for the eyes, nose, buttons and (optional) mouth. Make the top hat out of whipped cream. Finish off by sprinkling a little powdered sugar through a sifter at the base of the snowman for the snow. )

This is my go to pancake mix! Regular with vanilla back note is wonderful with anything, blueberries, bananas, chocolate chips. Sheer deliciousness. The coconut mix with bruleed pineapple is absolutely heavenly. Like being on a tropical vacation. I I brulee fresh pineapple thinning the brown sugar pineapple syrup. Then top with lightly toasted unsweetened coconut. Heaven on a plate if you are a fan of coconut and pineapple. I have added tropical fresh fruit and that is also delicious. SK pancake mixes you cannot go wrong. I haven't used the blueberry yet. I suggest go large on the Farmhouse mix.
We have been devoted Stonewall Pancake users every Sunday for over a decade. I am disappointed to find that We can longer get plain Stonewall pancake and waffle mix. The Company Classic is very dense and does not have they same flavor / texture as the regular original mix. I am pleading for the Stonewall company to please offer the original version for purchase…thank you
There are many things Stonewall Kitchen makes that are great - this pancake mix is not one of them. Ingredient list is...alarming (e.g. why the artificial flavoring?). I've tried doctoring this mix up in many ways and realize nothing can be done to improve it. Sorry, Stonewall! I'll be sticking to the jams.
Parcel arrive today, very well packed and in excellent condition.Many reviews for the pancake/waffle mix were good. I should have read the negatives. I am more than disappointed that your product uses bioengineered products. If I knew this, I would not have ordered the mix (I purchased two). I am sure the other products I purchased are exellent as I have purchased Stonewall Kitchen. products in the past.
This is the perfect pancake mix everytime! If you are a fresh blueberry lover,add them they will be perfect. I make them with chocolate chips, Bananas brulee with mashed bananas inside the actual mix, strawberries, thinly sliced fresh peaches and cinnamon, or just the mix as it is intended. Sheer deliciousness every single time! No matter if you add your spin or not to this fool proof mix. Do your family a favor and buy a couple large SK pure maple syrups to top off this pancake perfection.
Very disappointed with purchase. Ordered 6 dual pack buttermilk pancake mixes to give away as gifts for the holidays and the expiration date was less than 2 months of purchase date. All customer service said to me was that I bought them on some “ Barn sale” special which supposedly warns of shorter Exp dates, but less than 2 months Exp date is unacceptable. I would’ve never ordered these had I known they would be expired by the time these would be consumed. Would be very wary to order from this site again.
I've been using Stonewall Kitchen products to make Christmas basket gifts for years. Their name is synonymous with quality. This year I am putting together soup baskets.I did one last year and it got rave reviews. I've included their Chili starters and Clam Chowder, as well as NE Chicken Stew, Corn Chowder and Vegetable Soup Mixes. Added some Corn bread and Rosemary bread mixes as well as some crackers and you have a gift that is sure to impress and please. Perfect for our cold winter night. Thanks Stonewall Kitchen!
