Strymon Zelzah Multidimensional Phaser
Zelzah is actually two different phasers, side by side in one pedal. Zelzah’s 4-stage side gives you a wide array of classic tones ranging from phasing to vibrato and more, while the 6-stage side provides phasing, flanging, chorus, and all points in between. Dial in a chorus on one side and barber pole phaser on other, or a phaser on one side and tremolo on the other. Use the two sides independently or together in a variety of configurations. Zelzah may become the only modulation pedal you keep on your board.

There are plenty of reviews that describe all of the wonderful features and versatility of the Strymon Zezah, so I will not reiterate, my review is about analog snobs - like me. Like many people, my introduction to guitar effects (20+ years ago) was a very popular digital multi-effects unit that was not very expensive. As a beginner, it was fun to play around with and I learned a lot about different effects and how they interact with each other. That being said... it was awful, I mean the sound quality was terrible and I never used it in any serious capacity. And for a very long time I was biased against anything digital. These were the days before Strymon existed. To that efect, until very recently, my pedalboard was all analog. I wouldn't even consider digital ... These were the days before Strymon existed. To that efect, until very recently, my pedalboard was all analog. I wouldn't even consider digital effects at all. Fast forward to today: I love phase & flange and I play a lot of 70s style rock. I have gone through 3 analog phase pedals in the last 2 years and they all sucked... I mean tone suck. It sounded like I put a blanket over my amp and stuck it in the closet. These were well-known, tried-and-true pedals. The name Srymon gets thrown around a lot on Youtube gear reviews and is endorsed by many people whose opinions I repect. So I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Zelzah. And boy am I glad I finally joined the 21st century! Phase & flange sounds that are warm and ooey-gooey like they should be but at the same time are clean & clear, if that makes any sense. The brittle, sterile, digital sound that I feared is not there at all. No tone suck! When I click on the Zelzah, I can can do so without making any adjustments to my EQ. This is the phase I've needed all along. So if you're an analog snob, like I was, just get over it and buy the Zelzah. I can't speak for any other manufacturers' digital offerings, but Strymon's products are thoughtfully engineered, well-executed and... dare I say it... worth the cost.

Very well built, very clean outputs and it can recreate the vintage phaser sound but also can go modern and beyond.Highly recommended!!

I love it!I've owned a Small Stone, Phasor III, Apollo II and now the Zelzah and it's absolutely amazing. Plenty of sounds to discover but really straightforward to operate too. Audio quality is excellent.Solid build and actually looks better (slightly darker) than the pictures I'd seen.Great customer service from PMT who were easy to reach by phone and email when I had questions.

All seems as expected. A more detailed guide/manual should really be included for this money.
The main goal of this pedal is to have a solid base for "always on" delay on the pedal board and it does the trick perfectly. It's a tape based delay but Strymon surely know how to make their pedal customizable. Wide range of settings, easy to understand (knowing how tape delay works helps), solid construction, nice switches and knobs, stereo. This pedal will probably remain on my pedal board for decades. Really nice package for the money. I just encourage you to watch some videos about the loop mode, the only part of the pedal which is not so intuitive.
Excellent pedal (as would be expected for a Strymon product). It's very expensive for what it is though.
Because it came on time it was a present the person I brought it for loved it and was very happy with it
Been using effect pedals for nearly 35 years now. I've always been a fan of Phasers, and owned quite a few over the years. Now, this one is probably the last I needed to buy. Perfect for every need, great sounding. Easy to dial in good tones in virtually every setting. And it's more then just a double Phaser; you can easily dial in some great Flanger, Chorus and even autowah sounds. I use this in conjunction with the Multiswitch Plus wich allows me to store 3 Presets. This thing is built like a tank and has silent switching. Highly recommendable ;)
