It works and the settings are pretty accurate too. The handle seems a little cheap and I wonder how long it will hold up. But as of now, it works Great and the price was right.
Do not buy this toaster! I purchased about a couple weeks ago. My husband has used the toaster twice with no issues. Today (09-07-19) my daughter was going to toast a piece of bread. She pulled in toaster, put toast in and pushed lever to begin toasting. Immediately there was a pop sound and smoke started to come out of the front of the toaster. We immediately unplugged it. Thankfully there was not a spark, but the kitchen definitely smelled of burnt wires, etc. I will be returning this toaster.
I especially like the toaster being black. My old one was white & more difficult to keep clean. Toasts anything perfectly since it has wide slots. Definitely recommend to anyone needing new toaster especially at the great price.
This Toaster is a gem for the price it is being offered. I highly recommend you getting this. I toast directly from the freezer/fridge with even results on all sides. It has been a month I have this and I am pretty satisfied with it.
I replaced my beloved 1950 Sunbeam toaster with this machine. The name is the same, but the craftsmanship is missing. No surprise. For a mass produced, programmed obsolescent modern machine this new one is fine.
I had a Sunbeam toaster like this that lasted a long time, so I wanted to replace it with another one just like it. This new one doesn't toast properly. Not only does it take a LONG time to toast one slice of bread, it also only toasts one side...?? Doesn't matter which slot I use, only one side gets toasted, meaning I have to turn the bread around and toast it again. My old one didn't do this, and was also made a little better. Will be looking for a little better one this than.
Even thought it costs very little this toaster is honesty a piece of junk. The lever used to push down the bread really does not work. You have to slam it very hard to make it work. Made out of cheap material and it's basically a Chinese made POS. Don't waste your money on a product that functions like it made by a 3 year old.
This is the second one of the exact model. We have used ours for approx 3 years and our daughter just loved it so we purchased a unit for her, works great.
