absolute bargain with fast delivery - I love this kettle. It does pretty bright wavy blue lines when it is boiling. Obviously it is clear glass, I like to make sure there are no floaties in my boiling water, no surprises. So glass only thanks

I had initially considered the blue light to be gimmicky but I have found it actually serves a purpose by communicating the kettle has started. The blue light does look cool.Had this kettle for many months now and I like it very much. The glass allows me to instantly monitor the water level, the kettle itself is comfortable to hold, and besides the practicality of it, it looks good.And there is something comforting knowing the water is boiling in glass and metal than in a plastic kettle.Very pleased with my purchase.

Bit disappointed that it had the name Sunbeam but did not live up to quality. Within 1 week or about 20 uses the button that opens the lid broke, and there was a small black plastic price inside the kettle. It obviously hasn't been quality tested like they do with some quality products and test them 1000 or more times but ....20 this is pathetic for a good name brand.

Seems like a decent quality kettle, I wanted a clear one to be able to tell when it needs to be cleaned with ease. I wasn't fussed on the others available from other stores as they seemed like a cheap make. This one seems like a quality build, ironically have the same one at work and the part that you click on at the bottom has fallen off many a time - mine hasn't so will keep an eye on this part. Heats quickly and quietly.
This kettle has major design flaws. The metal bottom will burn incredibly easily where the heating coils are and it makes it very difficult to recommend this kettle to anyone. I suspect there are two reasons for this:1. The material was a poor choice or too thin to spread the heat efficiently.2. The timer of the boil is shorter than it should be. I always wait for the blue light to switch off - after the first marks started appearing, I waited for the rolling boil to stop as well. It kept getting worse. If you cannot use the kettle for several minutes after it boils without causing visible damage, then keep the light on for longer.Never, ever, have I had a kettle do this. Purchased a few months ago, primarily because of the "fast boil". It does LOOK good but the maximum power we get from the kettle is 2.06kW, NOT the 2.2kW claimed in the description. Kettle comes in a plastic bag with two large slabs of what appears to be polystyrene and the whole lot in a cardboard box which claims to be "recyclable cardboard". Regrettably the cardboard has a thin layer of beauty plastic on it which gives the packaging a nice sheen, but renders it "landfill" rather than "recyclable". So, hopefully the kettle is reliable and long-lasting - to make up for the greenwashing claims.
Loved this kettle at first but a few days ago the LED lights inside were flashing on and off but now not working at all.The kettle itself is still working but we loved the blue LEDs lighting up.Considering returning it for a replacement and just received an email from target asking for a review… so here it is.We’ve had issues with two other kettles of another brand bought during lockdown. When I returned the second one I was told by Target there was a safety issue recall. Never had any notification at all from Target even though this was their own brand and I bought it online via the website.I don’t think appliances in general are very good quality anymore.Not sure what to buy now :(
Excellent kettle. Purchased for a present. I chose this brand as I have one myself and have been very happy with it. If you like the see through glass look definitely invest in a brand name, I purchased a cheaper model from Kmart and it leaked months after owning it-I did however receive my money back which went towards my new one.Easy website to use to purchase - love the click and collect option especially with covid and two kids.
Smaller than my previous but I am good with it. Minus one star as water bubbles up when boiling causing calcium build up on the cover. I suppose because it is smaller than my old one. When pouring water spill out from the side as well.
This kettle was super quiet… at first. After a couple of months it’s now just as noisy as a regular kettle.There is also a weird discoloured ring on the bottom inside … it looks a lot like rust?I will say it boils quickly which is great.
