This product is wonderful for someone wanting to learn to use a sewing machine. The instructions seem to be a bit confusing as to how you would reload the machine with thread but it's easily fixed with a youtube search.

Yes. I'm giving this product 3 stars. Here's why. No, it's not a terrible product, but it's not the best. It is cute, compact, and it does work, but there is no light. Be ready to sew when switching on the "On / Off" button. If you're not ready, you will have a large knot of thread right where you begin and you'll have to tear that out and start over. It is a better idea to set the product to a lower setting and use the foot pedal. Always practice on a separate piece of material before using this or any product on main sewing projects. Also, wouldn't recommend using the prefilled plastic bobbins that come with the kit for this product. There is nothing in the instructions about this extra sewing kit being usable for this product. Great (more compact) Machine

This is not a full size machine, it did a great job for some hems I did, even did a pillow sham. I am not the most professional and I dont sew alot, but enough of experience to thread or adjust a tension if needed.I can see why people who expect this to be as powerful and capable as a regular machine would be disappointed, but for as much as I use one, this is perfect, and on the pro side because of its lightweight I can use it and store it back without thinking twice.

I placed an order for this in excitement that it was so cheap and small, and lightweight. I had INSTANT regrets as soon as I read through the reviews and attempted to cancel my order, though I'm glad I didn't. My package was ordered on Thursday June 29th, and wasn't expected to be here until July 11th. It showed up on at my door in an amazon box July 1st(Just two days later). I opened it right up, gave it a test run and when I got off work, decided to make a crop-jacket(My very first project). I have 0 experience with sewing machines, so I'd have to say this is excellent for beginners. Great for mending and small projects

I really love my mini sewing machine. I did look for tutorials on YouTube though. After reading other reviews, I realized videos would help a lot. It’s very easy to use, and great for patching up clothes, and learning the absolute basics to sewing. The price point was perfect! I also like that it came with bobbins and extra thread to start off with. The only thing it’s missing is pins and a pin cushion. So far I’ve fixed three dresses and taken in 2 shirts. As long as the instructions are followed there are really no issues. Enjoy your projects!

Haven't tried to use it yet

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to sit down and read the instructions, do a practice piece, etc. Some of the items do look a little "scary", as I am used to my old, heavy machine that I've had for well over thirty years. So, that will probably be my biggest "learning curve". Forget about how I usually set the bobbin , etc., etc., and just go by the instruction book. I will probably be better equipped to answer questions after using it.

I would not buy this product ever AGAIN‼️

My daughter wanted this sewing machine so she could do a good deed in sewing masks for other people to have while she was home from college. She only got to sew for two days before the machine stopped working. Had to take it back for a refund. Couldn't buy another one at the store because they were ALL sold out of sewing machine except for the $1,200 dollar ones. Do to the virus outbreak, no one has that kind of money.🤨

Manual sucks. Bobbin won't catch.

Read manual. As did two others. Took out of box. Plugged it in. Removed cloth that was sewn. Placed my cloth in and followed instructions.Back n forth to catch bobbin thread. It never caught. Two others read,and tried but not catching. Junk.

Never buy this product!

I used this machine the first time today. It is a piece of junk. To begin with, the foot pedal and power plug were not included. So I used batteries. The needle jammed every time I turned on the power. The spindle for the bobbin would not come out so I couldn't change the color of thread on the bobbin.I was hoping to use it for quick jobs, like hemming something, but there's no stitch length adjustment, only a basting stitch. I tried to contact the manufacturer using the phone number given, but was consistently disconnected. Email was "undeliverable." It's too late for me to get my money back, but if you want to throw your money down a rathole, buy this machine. It's worthless.
