This product is amazing. I have been using it mostly for shortbread and it has cut my kitchen time in half. It's speed make it easy to change the density and texture of the mixture. It's extremely easy to clean as well. Love the colour (white) matches the rest of my products in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is not so fab in the kitchen and needs a helping hand.

DOES NOT LAST THE DISTANCE

2 Months out of warranty and the beater broke. Sunbeam would do nothing about it even though Consumer Affairs stipulates that a product should last to a reasonable expectation beyond warranty time.

Easy to Use

I bought this as a treat for myself, since I love to cook, and my previous mixer broke when I asked it to make pasta dough (lesson learned!).Aesthetically I love the shape of this mixer, it's smooth and glorious and makes it so much easier to clean.I had read choice reviews that criticised the mixer attachment changing mechanism as being messy, but I disagree, it is only really potentially messy, and I have made some messy things without getting them on me.I do find it can be a little messy when folding in flour to a creamed butter mix (stand back to avoid the flour cloud that happens even on the lowest setting). But other than that I love this machine, it's so worth it's price tag.I gave it the ultimate test and made a pavlova for Christmas. Fresh dough, cookies and more!!

I’ve had the Sunbeam Mixmaster for only two weeks – and in that time have made two lots of pizza & bread dough using the dough hook and kneading setting, as well as three batches of cookies using the traditional spatula style attachment and a faster speed/setting! I’m very impressed with the way the ingredients are scraped from the edges of the bowl (without having to stop mid mixing and use a spatula to scrape the edges of the flour etc back into the mixture), as well as the various speeds/functions that allow for awesome versatility in the kitchen.My husband is VERY excited with the level of use it’s getting, the yummy smell that fresh baking leaves in the kitchen and of course the taste of freshly baked breads, pizzas and cookies he’s had the pleasure of consuming.

Good value

I am glad I went into a department store to have a hands on look at the mixer so I knew what I was getting. Is good value for the money spent. ( not sure why others are up to $800) Motor seems strong to deal with dough and has a few different beater attachments. I love that the dial is progressively higher so you can regulate the speed. It is a heavy machine so you probably want to have a permanent bench space to put it, rather than have to lift it in & out of a cupboard. I do miss the ability to detach the mixer from the base to use free-hand in another bowl. Overall happy with the purchase. Delivery was very prompt and came well packaged.

Great Machine!

This nifty little mixer is great! I am a newbie to baking and while whisking ingredients via hand provides a great workout, I decided to grab one the white mixer (I have a white theme happening in the kitchen!) and its a great! I can leave the mixer on and prepare other ingredients so it cuts my prep time in half! Great value and I will be the baking queen soon enough! Now just to figure out the next thing to bake and master!

Great little Allrounder!

I was given this mixer about a month ago and it is my go to! Compact, lightweight, bench friendly and does the job of most major mixers...what I really liked was it’s simplicity to do anything you needed and more! I only have a small kitchen so it was perfect. Not too bulky and handy for all sorts of jobs...I leave it permanently in the kitchen now...thanks sunbeam...

Pros: I use it everyday, to knead my bread as it was getting too hard for me to do by hand, does a real good job. Have used it for creaming and cakes, biscuits, also to make a Pav. It lives on my bench. When adding dry ingredients, always do as the instructions say and slow it down to 1 or 2 until it starts combining. It is a good medium price machine, and value for money and I would definitely recommend itCons: When kneading dough, stay close by as on occasion it walks a bit, but I hold a hand on base for a few seconds till it gets past that each time. This would not happen, I think, if it had a heavier base, as the expensive ones do, but overall it is a good machine and good value for money.

Top value for money

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a mixmaster. However, this little mixer offers great value for money. It has the same extra features as the more expensive mixers; dough hook, whisk, splash guards and pourer, as well as having enough power to do the job. It's really easy to use and the stainless steel bowl is a perfect size. It's compact size means I can store it easily, and it looks good too. So happy to have it in my kitchen!
