This blanket is good but the control has some annoying features. For example when I first press the power button ON the light on the dial keeps spinning like mad and suddenly comes to a dead stop. Then the control sets itself to the highest setting which is 6 which is even more annoying as this is the hottest setting for this blanket. I prefer another blanket without such a controller.

The service from Myer was first class.Thank you.The Sunbeam Electric Blanket is good quality and well made. On the minus side, it does not heat up as well as our old blanket and is a bit short at the feet end. Despite these minor faults we are happy with the blanket. It is easy to use the controls and the regulated turn-off is a plus. We would recommend it to a friend.

I bought this electric blanket and it’s been the best purchase I have done in a long time, every dollar worth spending on this product. It’s been better than turning the aircon or having the heater. Value for money, wins over thousand needed put the aircon. It is also efficient as you have 3 option for the duration it can be turned on from 1 hr, 3 hrs and 9 hours. It also has 6 heat options to suit your heating level.

Works exactly as expected! Heats up quickly and is a game changer for this cooler weather. My only con is the slightly odd display - works perfectly fine still - but the display seems to go into 'standby' mode after the timer is finished and the heat turns off, but the light on the display remains on. You then need to hit the on/off button to turn off the display completely. I would prefer it just turn off completely after the time has lapsed.
Very satisfied with the purchase of the above electric blanket.The product is easy to install, user-friendly, and produces consistent results. In future when required, the machine-friendly wash option is a great bonus.It is worth noting that the mesh ‘sides’ are quite deep & would fit comfortably over a thicker mattress. As such, over a regular mattress, I’ve found these need to be readjusted occasionally.
Actually 4 1/2 stars. The best electric blanket I've owned. The only thing is it seems the element is a little short at the top end & the top of my shoulders rest in a cold spot while the rest of my body is toasty & warm. I guess it depends on how you sleep. The heat settings are true. Love the time setting & safety features, provides peace of mind. The connection is not bulky on the bed, unlike some others, don't even really notice it.
This is my first electric blanket so I went to Choice for advice on what to buy and I am so thrilled with the Sunbeam Sleep Express. So easy to use and warms up the bed in ten minutes. Plus having separte controls for each side means hubby can keep his side cold the way he likes it. No more fighting over what temperature to set the heater (him too hot, me too cold) as no need to run the heater overnight as the electric balnket does a much better job at keeping me warm. Only downside is now the kids want one too!
Works well with easy to use settings. This electric blanket has 6 heat settings, including a fast heat setting and a timer setting. In the early evening, I turn it on to the highest heat setting number 6 with the 9 hours timer. When I go to bed, I turn the heat setting down to number 2 and set the timer to turn off in 3 hours. With the current cold weather we have been experiencing in Sydney and no other heating in the house, this has resulted in me having the best and most comfortable sleep right through the night, without waking up through the night due to getting overheated.
We have 2 of these Sunbeam electric blankets in our home, and they are both for our teenager and young adult children. We have no problem with the display - not a big deal - and the benefit is auto turn off, and quick 10 minutes to heat up. The price is quite affordable too. Why would you choose anything else? We haven't! Would highly recommend.
This is the second electric blanket bought this season. The main reason being to encourage my son to stay in bed!Bought the first from another retailer, different brand. Reason being is that it has way more features. I love that the blanket only takes 10 minutes to heat up (the other about 30mins), has 6 temperature settings, and auto timer which switches itself off. Love it!
