I have dry and sensitive skin and Vitamin C is part of my skincare routine every single morning. Let's start by saying This is such a good serum. I absolutely love the ingredients in it and the properties of it too. The package that it came in is gorgeous and strong to ensure proper travel to customers and it is a nice Pump Bottle. The pump applicator is great so you don’t squeeze out too much at once. Plus, a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts for quite a while. This serum is creamy, it applies smoothly and doesn't feel greasy. When applied, this product is silky smooth and does not burn or sting. CONTAINS GLYCOLIC ACID

I used points to get a mini of this. It layered really nicely under/ over other serums, moisturizers and makeup - I never had an issue with pilling. It didn't smell bad and it didn't feel sticky or uncomfortable on my skin. The tiny mini bottle lasted a super long time I was very surprised so I think this would be excellent value compared to other vitamin C products I've used that are more volatile. I didn't use this consistently or long enough to notice benefits from the vitamin C and here's why... I have rosacea and cannot use acid exfoliators on my skin- this product has GLYCOLIC ACID which is not the kindest on sensitive skin types. I tolerate vitamin C very well and have used the strongest forms from Skin Ceuticals so was confused at why my skin was getting ... MoreI used points to get a mini of this. Beware if you already use any form of exfoliation in your skincare routine, if you're not one to use/ reapply high factor SPF throughout the day or if you have sensitive skin. I don't think you should have to check if your vitamin C serum is actually a chemical exfoliant in disguise- I glanced at the ingredients briefly to check for nasty 'non clean' ingredients and fragrances etc beforehand and should have looked up each ingredient separately. It's ironic because people say Vitamin C is supposed to protect your skin from the oxidative stress caused by the sun and environmental pollutants, fading dark spots etc- and yet they added an acid that makes your skin way more susceptible and vulnerable to all the above. I'm sure this is made to help a lot of people's skin look good in the short term (acid) and long term (vit C) but they should market and disclose the acids in the formula.

Doesn’t smell heavy or artificial- 📦 Comes in two sizes: tall skinny one for 50ml and short stubby one for 30ml (I got this one and it’s perfect size for travel)- ⭐️ Texture 5/5: Smooth and silky with a milky appearance, not sticky or tacky. Spreads and absorbed by skin easily.- ❤️ Effectiveness 5/5: I give it full marks because it did not make visible difference from my previous V-C serum and it maintained my skin conditions - it can be seen as a viable substitute. There was a 100% improvement for my skin when I decided to switch out the normal serums with only V-C serums day and night. This was an experiment to see the effect of using only Vitamin C serum vs popular day and night serums (i.e Estee Lauder).Conclusion: Recommend as it is definitely a great product. I have only used 3 brands including this one so far, and having Vitamin C serum as part of my skincare routine is definitely better than not having it.

It gives me an instant glow and brightened my skin tone with consistent use. I found that this product also reduced the appearance of my nose pores and my skin also appeared to look smoother. However, as with all VitaminC products, it doesn’t fade the appearance of my dark spots.

My Holy Grail Vitamin C Serum!

I love Sunday Riley! I’ve been consistently using SR Luna Oil since I turned 40 over 8 years ago, and its been one of the best investments in my skincare routine. Slowly I’ve tried all SR products + have amazing results with Luna, a+ Retinol, Vitamin C serum, Good Genes and Superfoods Oil for 5-8 years. I also use the moisturizers each depending to the needs of my skin and seasonal/hormonal changes. Personally, I’ve had issues with the CEO Glow Oil that is typically paired with this vitamin C, so I only use a drop or two when I want an extra luminous boost and I’m not overly oily, as I tend to be in humidity and summer. What I love about this product is: brightness, luminosity, even-toned complexion, and the ability to treat hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and diminis/repair acne scars. What I advise is that you try to purchase the mini sets or use points when available in the bazaar to test the entire line of SR products yourself before investing. It is expensive, but I’ve learned that unlike many other products I’ve bought, less is more and a little goes a long way, especially if you find that several key products—Luna, GG, A+, Vitamin C Serum + the oils/moisturizers work for you. Personally, just as I find my skin fairs best with minimal CEO glow, so too do I find the vitamin c moisturizer in this line to be much heavier with this serum already being quite substantial in its consistency. If I use either the oil or moisturizer that compliments this serum, I do so very soaringly on my face but much more liberally on my neck, décolletage, shoulders, etc. then I find these products to be fantastic because I’m increasingly getting drier as I age unlike my combination skin that will always bee oil with
