Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment 50 ml

I got a mini size of this in one of Sephora's "Hello!" favorites bags and I realized just how good it is! I've been trying to make it last because the full size is quite pricey (but it would absolutely be worth it!). I have had cystic acne for over half my life and it has been at different levels of severity along the way. Currently, it's pretty much under control apart from the odd cyst on my chin area and I can deal with that by using Sunday Riley Good Genes. You just have to be careful not to overdo it because there is lactic acid in this, so if you use too much of it, you are, in a way, "burning" your skin. Using more than directed will not make you see a difference any faster and it will actually just make your skin feel really greasy. If you try to put this on broken or irritated skin, it will probably sting, so that's just a warning. I can definitely see myself buying more of this in the future because this is one of my "must-have" skincare products that I don't ever want to run out of. I highly recommend it to people who have acne and are wanting a clearer, smoother complexion or for people who want to reveal brighter, more youthful-looking skin.

It's like an at home facial for me o Honestly one of the best exfoliating products. I have tried quite a few aha products but nothing beats this one tbh. Best product for brighter dewy healthy looking skin

I love Good Genes. I've been using this product for several years every day. It makes your skin look brighter, healthy, dewy and much younger looking. It is the best product to use daily on your skin as an exfoliant and brightener. I use it under my Cerave moisturizer. Then I apply Elta MD SPF 46 sunblock every day. I have not use foundation for the past 20 years because I don't need to. My skin looks bright and dewy with this regiment. I wash my face in the evening and use only GOOD GENES at night and nothing else. In the morning your skin will look like a baby skin. Also, applying blush on top of healthy skin makes is much nicer looking than applying too much makeup to cover skin that is not exfoliated. Big Fan Of This Product

After a solid two month adjustment period, I have come to really like this Good Genes product and appreciate my results. Considering I am a consistent user of actives, including almost nightly Tretinoin, I was surprised my skin didn’t take kindly to this product initially—my skin stung and the formula remained tacky on my skin for hours after application. But now, after about eight weeks, the sting and tackiness are gone and I’m really enjoying great benefits. My only other complaint is about the Luna, it doesn't soak in, you go to bed slimy.On the other hand, the two products I didn't expect to really care about but ended up really liking are the essence (Pink Drink) and the cleanser (Ceramic Slip). Still, I don't expect I will be purchasing them. It's a consideration in the future. Right now I'm over Sunday Riley and will continue my search for my skincare unicorn.

I love the boost that adding glycolic to my usual lactic acid regimen to help my problem skin with some increased cell turnover. This one definitely tingles more than my usual Biossance (which I also love, but think my skin needed a switch up). Fortunately, even with my sensitive skin it isn’t too much. This one is definitely a higher price point and slightly more aggressive, but that feeling ultimately yields fantastic results quickly and without irritation. Should not have waited so long to try it

I saw this tsv and figured I'd take a chance. I have very oily skin and the wrong product will give me acne quick. I have used prescription retinol for 10 years, but lately I am needing something more. I am 44 and it's no fun to have to worry about acne and wrinkles as the products needed for both usually conflict. I have been using this every morning as my moisturizer and under my makeup for 2 weeks. My skin is softer, it has not caused breakouts, if I do start to get a pimple it doesn't even form and my skin stays nice and plump and my pores are smaller and clearer. Also, my makeup goes on nicely, no pilling and no extra oilyness. I really have been regretting not trying sooner. If it keeps delivering, I will keep using. I had to open this up and try it right away after reading reviews on the super sized bottle that said the formula changed and that this burns. I did not feel any burning whatsoever. I even put it all over my eye area like I always do because Sunday said you definitely can during the TSV presentation. So I wanted to be sure I felt no burning like other reviewers. This makes my skin SO soft and smooth, just like silk, just like it has in my previous bottle. I don’t think the product has changed at all. I’m very happy with this and I get compliments on my skin all the time. It truly looks and feels youthful, dewy but not greasy, and just amazing! I have acne prone skin that used to be oily but now as I’m almost 50 it’s not so much oily anymore.
