It is an excellent product that deserves more attention. I read that it is good for metabolism and energy production. I had no problems taking it and feel it helped me in some ways. I chose the bitter melon supplement because of its convenient use: it lowers blood glucose levels and, like bitterness, helps the stomach function. I take the supplement three times a day. Its capsules are convenient in size and are odorless and taste less. I feel like the benefit is that I crave sweets less after eating.
After researching I decided this was the safest for my motherās sugar, sheās middle aged. She has lost a lot of weight but her sugar was still high despite her eating better. Bitter melon was the safest option naturally and her blood sugar was 150 fasting. She took the bitter melon and it went down to 95 after 45 minutes. It works for me as well in bodybuilding. I take it before carbs and it seems to help with pumps probably due to insulin sensitivity. It was also shown in studies to improve nutrient delivery and has anabolic properties. Swanson bitter melon seems like the best choice for a lower price and a high quality patented extract. Update After ordering again, more benefits in the weight department as she has lost 15 lbs over the past 2 months.
It's been quite a while that I always feel sleepy after carbohydrates (rice/ spaghetti/ macaroni, etc) Blood test was fine. A lot of research has been done to find bitter melon as well as this capsule. Definitely works. Just take it during the meal (NOT suggest after meal) (NOT suggest empty stomach).
While no supplement can match the effect of the actual bitter melon fruit in combating high blood glucose, I'm grateful that Swanson has encapsulated it, which is handier and doesn't taste objectionably bitter, and they offer it as a very reasonable price! Some other brands may have slightly more potent strengths of bitter melon; however the value here comes in a large part from the price. Itās also hard to quantify the quality of each brand - I would suggest Swanson is āaverageā. I have started to take Bitter Melon to help with blood sugar levels. I cannot specifically prove that it has impacted any lab results or anything like that. Iām looking to provide my body with hopefully a little bit of an āedgeā to help with sugar levels. Diet will always be the most significant factor
It taste and smells like something is āsmokedā and it really helped curb my appetite. But i wonder why jt smells that way. The size of the pill is big but over all the quality and ingredients are clear and it had a good benefit on me. remember to stay hydrated
