Niacinamide was recommended to me as a natural sleep aid. Most companies offered 500mg only. I had an instinct that 250mg would work. For me, it does. Swanson's Niacinamide 250mg seems to be high quality. I ordered directly from the company.

I had a 2 level lumbar fushion done almost 2 years ago, I have been on this brand and this strength of niacinamide twice daily for the last 6 months, I also take the Swanson flush free 1 capsule every night. I can't begin to tell you how different my life is now. I don't take any pain meds, any NSAIDS, or any other meds. One of these capsules every 90 minutes during the day and every time that I wake up at night keeps my 76 year old brain sharp as a tack and as focused as that of a young college student.There is never any need to fear those senior moments that can happen in your 60's and 70's. I would not be without my niacinimide.

Big pot, practical that there is only one pill per serving, this will last a long time. As for the effect would need months of taking it before being able to judge the quality.

It is excellent for nervous system. Give energy for the whole day. This is a no flash niacin, the pill have small size. Good quality, will buy again.
I have a deficiency of Niacin, which is a B vitamin. Found that Niacinamide, which is buffered, is much easier on the stomach, & doesn't cause the flushing that Niacin seems to cause. Highly recommend this instead of Niacin if you are diagnosed as needing it. Also comes in 500 mg., but find that 250 mg. a day are usually enough for me.
Dr recommends taking 50 mg of this several times per day. This is the only capsule that I can release about that much to conform to my Dr's wishes. It is reasonably priced when on sale. The consistency is strangely with a few lumps. Perhaps that is due to less jillers.
