I bought this pan again. I am very hard on pans with accidentally over heating with oil, meat etc. on a gas stove. I have tried other recommended nonstick pans including top rated on Consumer Reports. None are as durable or quality of Swiss Diamond. Gave a 4 because so far there is no "fool proof" nonstick frying pan that lasts forever:(

This is the best Non-stick pan I've ever used. And I've tried many. Most non-stick pans can't even brown your meat. This pan is a good cross between non-stick and cast iron-ish. I bought another 7 inch before and it was an older model which was also great! Since this newer pan has a heavier bottom, it does take just a wee bit longer to heat up. I'm fine with that because it's not by much and the greatness of this small pan more than makes up for it. The size of this 7 inch is perfect for my eggs in the morning or any time of day. It's also great for a hamburger. I also have the larger 10½ inch pan which I really like as well.

Great, small fry pan. I love the weight. It is a substantial pan. Built well & really is non-stick. Very easy to clean. I've cooked scrambled eggs, warmed refried beans & other foods. It seems to heat very evenly & cleans up well no matter what I cook. I was looking for a small fry pan & this one is just the right size for one person!

I thought this might be a bit small but it is just perfect for me and very nicely made. I have found no deficiencies in it at all. I really enjoy cooking with it and it is heavy enough to stay on the burner without a lid. I highly recommend this pan. It is very definitely nonstick and conducts heat extremely well!
Bought this seven-inch pan for specific purpose - preparing eggs. This it does beautifully.Even though it may not have been necessary, I seasoned the pan before first use.We use fats or clarified butter with the pan, so egg release is always perfect. Everything slides right out.While Swiss Diamond products are not cheap, they are, in our opinion, worth every penny. They're long-lasting and their non-stick ability is without peer.
This pan was purchased to replace one we were given as a gift years ago! We used it almost daily. It was still functioning perfectly but, shame on us, we didn't clean the bottom as well as the inside so it wasn't quite as 'pretty' as it was new. We're delighted to now have two of these awesome Swiss Diamond frying pans! [we never throw anything away!]
We have needed a smaller non-stick pan for morning eggs and such. So, we purchased this 7-inch Swiss Diamond to complement the two other larger pans we've been using for years. This one seems to have a more robust non-stick surface that cooks without oil and cleans with ease. We ordered it because, like so many other Swiss products we own, its reputation for quality, reliability, and durability precedes it. Moreover, there was a Holiday discount that made this an opportune time to purchase. To no surprise, it meets or exceeds expectations.
I had high hopes for this fry pan because it was advertised as requiring little to no oil to prevent foods from sticking. My experience with this pan is just the opposite. It works fine if you liberally coat it with non-stick spray, but everything sticks when you don't. Even though the pan has a non-stick surface, it still has a surface profile that causes everything to stick.
Don't buy any Swiss Diamond products. I am one to usually give positive reviews but I've had a lot of trouble with Swiss Diamond as a company and the low quality of their products. I cook at home quite a bit and use this pan every day, sometimes twice per day. I take great care of my kitchen tools and never put them in the dishwasher, always wash with soft sponge by hand, etc. This product, after less than 1 year of consistent use, has completely failed. There is no "nonstick" coating left and absolutely everything adheres to it now. I contacted the company (twice) to activate the warranty that they offer, and after 12 weeks of consistently being a squeaky wheel, they finally "reached a decision" and decided that the warranty would not be upheld because it looked as ... MoreDon't buy any Swiss Diamond products. Then, they deny claims based on what they see in a picture (I had to submit pictures of the pan) with the consumer having no recourse. I felt that this was an inaccurate and disingenuine denial of my claim to avoid taking responsibility. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a quality product.
After sending tons of pics per their request, they agreed that peeling on rim of nonstick pan after 6 months was a defect. But their process to replace is ridiculous and clearly intended to discourage customers from doing so: return pan (at your own expense), wait 4 weeks for additional review, receive voucher, redeem online, wait for delivery of new one. Even though they agree it's a company defect! So disappointed--not only in the product ( peeling so quickly???), but even more so in the customer service. Own several Swiss Diamond cookware pieces, but will never buy anymore again.
