Swisse Men's Ultivite Multivitamin 120 Tablets

Well. Well. First few of days it came with a mint odour. After a week, it started to stink like a rotten egg. Its hard to swallow. Difficult to understand whether to use it or not. I dont know eget her to continue taking pills or thrash such expensive pills. Atleast, i am sure i have maintained in a dry condition at room temperature. Terrible rotten smell. The manufacturer kept a dessicant inside. Yet, it catches moisture when ever opened it may be.

A Good SUPPLEMENT to a good diet and exercise

I used to be a bit of a body builder, high user of supplements and lots of exercise. I had so many bottles of stuff it was almost impossible just to keep up with the requirements every day. My favorite quote was Minimum Daily Requirement? Who wants to be MINIMUM. I was in great shape of course and almost never sick or even feeling bad, but now I'm older and not quite so dedicated to premium fitness. Make sure you eat right, good food and the right amount, supplement that with this pill daily and possibly a few individual vitamins you're afraid you're not getting in your diet, exercise as much as you feel keeps you energetic, and that's about all that could be expected of you. This has a good quantity of most of what you don't get in a good diet... so you're getting your money's worth. Anything more is going to require you to take a lot more BIG pills, more often. Pill size is not too large, a little slippery, so they go down easily... Take them with your meal and other than the chemical smell, you won't notice it at all.

A large pill

This is the biggest pill I have ever seen. If you have trouble swallowing pills, perhaps it's best to look elsewhere.I have not done any blood work after taking the multivitamin so I can't objectively speak on how well it works.Subjectively I feel the same. It's one pill a day so it's convenient for me to take after food once and forget about it.It colors your pee, in case it matters to somebody. I feel very neutral about this multivitamin. If you are like me and take a vitamin just in case you're missing out on something, might as well.

So I took it off because I understand they are in great demand and times are tough on everything right now. I just hate finding something I love and then not be able to ever get it again. High Quality & Balanced Multivitamin for Men

I have been using this excellent multivitamin since 2003, when i was living on Gold Coast, Australia. At that time this was the top quality vitamin complex that Aussie mates produced. Now it's available outside Australia and I am very pleased to observe that their quality and balance of indgredients have remained top notch. I have used GNC Mega Men/Opti-Men and GAT but their quality went into gutter over time and now they dont compare with this multivitamin. I get smooth, sustained energy and clarity of vision with Swisse. This is my daily go to Multi, and YES, I LOVE that spearmint fragrance/taste of the tablets :) Some people would always find faults no matter how good a product is. So keep up the good work Swisse! There are no statements about whether their vitamins are from natural foods or synthetic. No information on whether the product uses GMOs, are organic, gluten-free, vegetarian or country of origin for the herbs. These are all attributes that most supplement manufacturers go out of their way to mention. When taking a close look at the label, the amount of vitamins included are not very high at all. Many of them fall well short of the Recommended Daily Allowance, which is basically the minimum amount of any vitamin you need to have in order to keep from suffering from disease.It is especially deficient in vitamins D and E. So, if you are depending on a single pill to provide all of the vitamins you need for the day, this product probably isn't the best choice. It does have a lot of herbs that you do not typically find in most multivitamins. So, perhaps, this could be a supplement for your existing vitamin supplement. It wouldn't be the primary product I use though. The pills themselves are a bit larger than average but easy to swallow. They do have a distinct smell to them, but it really isn't all that noticeable. I have not felt any effects from these supplements as of yet. Honestly, considering the extremely low doses that this product contains I would not expect any changes to be noticeable anyway.

Not Recommended as a Main Multi-Vitamin

My husband has been taking a vitamin with added caffeine but now that he went back to energy drinks (after being off them 2 years, I'm frustrated) I decided we needed to change his vitamin to one without caffeine. I though this looked like a great replacement. The quality of the supplement is decent. It's not sourced from China or anything and I'm not worried about the quality of the actual vitamin or them having anything harmful in them. What I take issue with is that the doses of vitamins in this supplement are so low. Vitamin absorption is an issue to begin with unless you go with a liquid or a gummy. When you get a tablet that has such low vitamin counts you have to wonder if it's even doing any good. As a supplementary vitamin he'll take it because it does have some good herbs in it that are not found in other vitamins, but then he's again using it as an additional supplement. The Swisse Men's Ultivite Multivitamin contains 53 vitamins and minerals. It also contains milk thistle and artichoke. As well as Lycopene and Selenium. My doctor advise for me, personally, to alternate with these slowly to see how I feel. Because I'm not like most people who rely on one multivitamin and take a good number, which I alternate vitamins every other day, I do like the fact that the Ultivite contains much more than the basic multivitamin you find at stores. I'm not familiar with these items but the serving is so tiny that I didn't think they would do any harm. I never understood that, vitamins don't make you feel different but I kind of thought these would. They don't. They still serve their purpose of having above and beyond the RDA (which is helpful if your particular body needs might need more than the RDA, and you urinate the rest) so he's going to continue to take and see if anything changes.
