The JP (Japanise) version works great on standard early 2000's Abloy lock. The lock was easy to automate for relocking movement, fit is perfect and not once it has yet failed to open. Relocking sometimes comes a bit too slow (I have 3 seconds set, sometimes it takes up to 6), so you do need to push the handle down to verify the door locked. But it's anyways a safe thing to do I guess, but of course could be improved.Keypad with fingerprint reader has a dangerous security feature where after few failures it disables the fingerprint reader - so you actually shouldn't go out without another means to open the door (like have key, phone or remember the pin).Installation was easy and quick. I was a little apprehensive regarding security and installation of the new switchbot lock so I watched a few videos and they all made it look very simple.Setup wasn't as easy as advertised but that was more my lock and not the smart locks fault.Some people just unscrewed the fob off. I couldnt do that. Mine was built into the mechanism itself. I had to drill mine off, then find a locking bolt to go through the round cylinder. The locking bolt then jammed against the installation plate when turning so I had to shave the hole larger.Once this was done though all went rather smoothly. The footprint is much bigger than Id ideally like so its impossible to use on any doors that open outwards. Id LOVE to have one of these on either of my backdoors but it would simply hit the wall or frame when opening the door. Itll only fit my front door which opens inwards. This is a real shame and would love it if you guys added a smaller lock or one that goes into the door itself (I know that's not your selling point but)For my front door though it is great and Im having a lot of fun playing with its many security options and password settings. Having family members set up to save having to mess about with keys is AMAZING! DO wish it was a bit smaller but that's my only issue. Great lock and will use it for many years to come I'm sure

Coming from the previous model that only lasted 1 year, I was wary of committing again. The product seems more robust and love the rechargeable battery option and touch button to lock/unlock.It seemed to have a few bugs in the first couple of weeks... not always auto locking, losing door close status, empty log, and no temp manually disable autolock option. All seem okay now though. Wish there was a widget for disabling autolock though.So far, I am really happy with it. Was easy to install and no 3M sticky stuff required. Just hope it lasts this time.

The approach to the product is very nice, for me with Keypad Touch & Hub mini.What I find very unfortunate, however, is the functions of the software and the scope of the functions.I noticed the following negatively:1. Home Assistant integration is very modest (only opening & closing the lock) why doesn't the Hub mini provide values ??such as door open (magnetic contact) and various inputs from the code lock?2. Automatic closing, why can't you set fixed times?3. Fingerprint recognition in children is very poor (8 years old) despite improved recognition.
The lock pro using SwitchBot app works as expected, all the features are there and I havent had any issues with it.But integrations are still far from usable in my opinion. Both HomeKit and home assistant only allow to close or open the lock, and if youre using the night hatch, opening of door will also always open the night hatch which is super confusing. Theres no door status, no battery status, in home assistant when lock is opened its stuck in unlocking state. The only integration is possible via matter via hub, no Bluetooth option which is a shame. Apple Watch integration is just possibility to open the app on the watch and press unlock - super inconvenient and its much quicker to just use the touch panel or phone in this case.Installation is quite ... In my case my lock knob was incompatible with any of the cylinder adaptors so I had to use a knife to make it fit.The door status magnet is very bulky but fortunately you can use any magnet you like and I have purchased a thin magnet for 0.5 eur which works great.Other minor thing is the speed of mechanism. I have a multipoint lock doors that you have to turn quite a bit to unlock, and every friend that saw how the lock works said that it would be quicker to just take the key and turn it yourself. Would be great if turning speed could be customizable.All in all Im happy with the product. Hopefully the integrations part can be fixed in the nearest future and then Id call the product complete.
I am using complete set (Lock Pro, Gateway and Keypad) for the period of use (approx. 3 weeks) I can state only positives.- Installation is so easy (hardware and software setting) that is done in 30 minutes from taking box in to my hands till watching TV again (-;- So far, I haven't noticed a single failure or error, not even a small one (always was able to reach the lock from app, no problems with locking/unlocking via fingerprints on touchpad no issue with alexa)- The only small issue is, that children fingerprints (my 3yo son) are not recognized so good, but it may be another issue as are general physical limitation, but I was not checking it till now
Hi Guys,generally the product is OK, but I still miss the possibility to set automatic door lock at a certain time directly in the application without having to use the third party applications.There is one more thing which could be improved. I mean the sound of the lock. Compared with other (almost the same) device your lock is quite noisy. Especially when opening and locking the door during the night. The sound of the lock always wakes my wife up even though she sleeps quite far from the front door (20m).Hopefully the next version will have this improved.Don't worry, I am not going to return the lock:)Good luck!Martin
I have had the Lock Pro for a couple of weeks now and I must say its an impressive bit of kit. Faultless in operation and a pleasure to use, so much so that I already no longer take a key when leaving home for the day. With the ability to remotely unlock the door should this be necessary to allow entry to whomever may need it, workmen, secure parcel drops, family or whoever. I have set the LockPro to auto lock when the door is closed so forgetting to lock the door is never a problem. Retrofitting to my door without any sticky pads or screws was a simple procedure done in minutes. Excellent product.
I placed a pre-order for the lock pro after a number of emails back and forth asking about its suitability for my needs. Generally responses were within 24hrs, they asked for a few pictures and videos. Eventually confirmed it would work fine. My main concern was that my door is multipoint lock with a deadlock, with this combination its working fine.I placed the order, and now two weeks after fitting, its working just as I hoped.I really think this is a great item. It seems to be well made. It fits the lock barrel exactly as it said it would. In two weeks Ive had no issues, the keypad and fingerprint reader work every time. The phone app works and has multiple available settings.My only slight criticism would be the instructions for the mini hub. The instructions ...
