For some reason Synology thinks a 10tb Western Digital Ultrastar Data Center hard drive is not up to par for this system.Drive 1 (model: WDC WDBBUR0100HNC-WRSN) on RS2423RP+ isnot on the Synology Products Compatibility List of your Synology NAS model. We recommend using compatible drives to ensure system performance and maintain data integrity.This seems to be shortsighted on Synology's part. I have submitted arequest for review but as of 5/31/23 you get red alerts in the Synology Control Panel. WD's takeover of HGST has caused a lot of model number changes and Synology can't keep up apparently. This is a data center grade drive and should have no issues. I am only giving 2 stars at this time due to the compatibility warning.
