Attached via a 10gbe backbone with speeds greater than 600 MB/s. Couldn't be more thrilled. Purchased along with synology 12 TB hard drives (qty 6), 32GB ram, and 2 400GB NVME drives.

The drive looks really good with the only difference being in the sticker on the front of the drive. I bought two drives to go in my DS220+ and they work great.

Excellent drives Fast but not noisy at all
The drive looks really good with the only difference being in the sticker on the front of the drive. I bought two drives to go in my DS220+ and they work great.
Drive is extremely fast and not as noisy as I expected
Excellent so far. Time will tell on longevity. 3 of these in a synology 1621+ and no issues so far.
Drives work fine in my Synology RS3621RPxs however 1 drive had issues. After moving the drive around to other Synology NAS systems I have it was determined with 100% certainty it was a out of box failure. Oddly this has never happened to me, so I kept trouble shooting it.
Ordered 6 12TB drives for a client's Synology DiskStation DS1823xs+ and all came with no errors, are extremely fast individually and very very strong drives when benchmarked in a RAID 6 (72TB, with 43TB usable in this configuration). Was able to practically saturate a 10Gbit network connection when testing sustained read/performance). Wrote a 4GB file to the NAS from a PCI 4.0 NVME Drive and hit 1080MB/sec. All came with Firmware 1401 and was easily updated in Synology DSM to 1402. Drives are fairly quite considering their capacity and intended performance in a NAS environment. Would recommend, other than being way more expensive that non-Synology branded Drives like an equivalent Seagate IronWolf Pro, etc. but as the compatibility list grows for this new NAS, other ...
