Tabasco Sriracha Sauce 256 ml

I don't know how any AUTHENTIC Sriracha Sauce is supposed to taste, but I do genuinely like how this product has enhanced many of the meals [oh, yes, BREAKFASTS, lunches, and dinners I've "presented" to my Family, Friends, and other Community Members (e.g., at School and Church functions, Springtime and Summertime Potlucks, etc.] over the years. At the same time, I agree with other posters re: the pricing of this product (same price for approx. 1/2 as much? what's THAT about???; for ME, it's justification for my 3 Star review). But I will (in all likelihood) continue to purchase it -- at least in "the short term". A little goes a long way -- which is a good thing. At the same time, my personal family budget can be stretched only so far. And so ...

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I really like this brand, I've tried it before and it's one of my favorite condiments for food. It has a lovely level of spicy, flavor and texture. I think that if you are expecting the exact taste as the original Sriracha you may be disappointed because it doesn't have a distinguished taste and it has a more complex flavor. But it is definitely a good product and I would highly recommend it.

A bit hotter and smoother, nice substitute

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This new sriracha sauce is a little more spicy than the original one, but not as sour. The texture is more smooth and will blend very well with mayo, which is how I usually eat it. It's a pretty good substitute if you are a bit tired of the original sriracha but can't give up the flavor. the price is higher though, especially the old ones you can get a big bottle for a fare price at most Asian stores.

Good but Potent

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.The packaging of this product is eye-catching and I appreciate a smaller bottle size as we don't go through the larger ones fast enough. The twist spout is convenient for use.Smell-wise it's similar to other sriracha sauces, but with a hint of Tabasco.Upon tasting, I felt the level of heat was higher than the 2/5 flames shown on the bottle. The flavor depth was good, but the heat concentration was a bit more than expected.I'm not sure I'd just put this right on anything like I would other hot sauces, it would have to be added into something in order to better control the spice level.I'd be interested to try the other variety.

Good heat and flavor

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This has a flavorful spicy taste. It is spicier than I was expecting but the perfect amount of heat to me. It is pretty think, and has the consistency of ketchup. It actually had somewhat of a ketchup flavor the first time I tasted it but the more I ate it, the better it was. This would be good on pretty much anything you wanted to put it on to add more heat or flavor. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't have any preservatives and only a small amount of added sugar.

Good without comparing to popular brand

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own. Srirachas aren't exactly spicy, they have a bit of heat and that is true for this one which the label ranks as 2/5 flames. It has a solid garlic flavor and isn't too strongly of vinegar, which is great in my opinion, I don't like hot sauces that are mostly vinegar. I don't know if I could directly compare it to a different brand of sriracha because it is a lot more mild and a bit of a different flavor profile, but it is good in its own right.

I found a good Sriracha at last!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.This is a fantastic hot sauce! I am in love at first sight. I've been trying to find a replacement or backup for the ubiquitous Huy Fong Sriracha sauce on the market, and I think I finally found it with Tabasco's rendition. The sauce is very nice to taste and a slightly sweet flavor that goes well with almost everything. It has enough spice to punch a little kick but not enough to overwhelm you. I think it can go together very well with anything that I will have now or in the future. I am truly in love with this sauce at first sight.

MY NEW FAVORITE SAUCE

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Tabasco Brand Sriracha Sauce, I would say starts out with a sweeter more mild taste, ending with a kick of heat. It perfectly adds flavor with not to much spice. It is thicker than other Tobasco products. I usually don't eat alot of hot sauce, but the taste great. Tabasco Sriracha sauce has become my new favorite condiment! Definitely WILL buy again.

Spicy, but not too spicy

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As someone who does not like super spicy things, I enjoy this sriracha sauce. It's has 2 out of 5 flames on the label, and I feel like this is an accurate rating. It was spicy enough that I could taste the kick, but not so spicy that I couldn't enjoy the other flavors in my food. It's a nice mixture of sweet, savory, and spice. I also love the simple ingredients. I would recommend this!

sriracha substitute I think not!

This was nothing like sriracha. No spice. Definitely more like Tabasco than anything.Returned it. The closest thing I could find was P.F. Chang’s gochujang sauce. This doesn’t have the heat sriracha has but is textured closer and has similar spices. Better than this is the good labeled Sambal! I love that stuff, but it is spicy. So if you don’t want spice get the pf Chang one.
