Its CD player supports standard CD, CD-R, and CD-RW disc types and the built-in Bluetooth receiver allows wireless playback of music from mobile devices. Definitely worth the money, it's probably pretty obvious that a Tascam CD player this expensive is going to be high quality, since I have one I can tell you for sure it is very nice, here are five things I like about it that weren't in the description1. Looks sick as f*** in rack2. Does everything FAST4. comes with a "real" threaded coaxial plug for the antenna3. I think it's made in Japan5. Unit was received on time and in great shape. Works as advertised with no issues. FM reception is very good, Bluetooth is a great option to have.

This is great CD player, very quiet too as I have it on my night stand..great AM/FM tuner...& I can record all night long directly to a high capacity USB drive...no computer needed! Listen mostly with headphones.Highly recommend.
All the sources sound outstanding, better than previous non-pro gear Ive had. Great CD, Bluetooth, SD card and USB playback. Easy to pair. Really well made, looks great in the audio system.
For what has become my permanent WFH space, this little unit is just about perfect. I've been able to de-clutter and shrink the amount of audio gear even more than expected. The FM tuner, SD/USB media player and CD player features were expected going in, but I was pleasantly surprised that the headphone output drives my 250-ohm Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro headphones just as well as my dedicated amp, and sounds excellent too. I also have the CD-400U going to a set of Audioengine speakers and the sound quality is very satisfying. I'm curious as to what DAC hardware Tascam has built into this thing, but I'm pleased with the output quality regardless. I haven't even touched the Bluetooth or dubbing capabilities yet.
