I like everything about these binoculars. The image is bright and sharp and the focusing adjustment are just right, not too tight and not too loose. The exterior is nice to grip, and the heft is just right for birdwatching from my porch. They are my go-to binoculars. It's hard for me to imagine how a pair of binoculars could suite me better, and the price is rather amazing.

Good binoculars for the price. I believe Tasco has discontinued these so maybe the good price. Missing neck strap which was supposed to come with it. Haven't figured out what's "collapsible" about the eye pieces.

Great bino's, great value but I wish I had chosen 8x rather than 10x just because using them on a boat its hard to hold on target with the more extreme magnification. My bad, not the bino's. When on a stable platform.

The binoculars are of excellent quality and offer brilliant magnification for daytime and also night time looking at the moon and stars. I bought them for my 10 year old grandson who has quite poor vision and he has found them to be very helpful.
Excellent binoculars for the price. We were a little sceptical about the quality and distance of vision when we ordered these but were pleasantly surprised when they arrived and we tried them out. A great product for a lower budget. Recommend!
My old Tasso (yellow floating binoculars for sailing) finally broke after 30 years of devoted and frequent use in sun, sand ,heat, salt water etc. Bought these 10x50 TEBs and were in use within 1hr of purchase for watching the racing (sailing) on Lake Macquarie. Great pair, comfortable, easy to use, very happy with them.
I got a slight discount because the Binocular box was store opened and slightly torn but when i got home the box contained parts from a child's scooter, lens caps from a different make binocular and some allen keys? This was obviously a customer return so second hand, it was put back in the display cabinet without even checking the contents of the box which is very disappointing as I will have to inspect every BCF purchase vary carefully in the future, I will never know if there is a fault or if these binoculars were returned with a fault as I do not have a new product to compare this to! one eye piece is lower than the other so I will need to return them.
I’m extremely happy with my new purchase from BCF, my Tasco Essentials Binoculars are just perfect for watching my grandchildren sailing either on the Swan River o out on the ocean.
They are not top of your line binos.However the 10x50 power binos don't have to that rugged or have to handle extreme climate changes. After all 10 x 50's or larger are ment to be an in car or in boat set of long eyes they are not ment for lugging around your neck up and down hills. Your better off getting either a set of 8x30 or 10x 42 if you intend to go bush walking or hunting.. These binos focus well and comfortable to use for hours without eye strain. Attaching the sling can be a little tricky as the slot is a little tight and remembering how the stap folds back through the buckle so it don't slip can be overcome by attaching one side at a time so you can see how the strap ment to loop through the buckle.Provided your intended use doesn't involve extreme ... MoreThey are not top of your line binos.However the 10x50 power binos don't have to that rugged or have to handle extreme climate changes.
