The soap smells and performs very well. Very similar to the TOBS Organic version but with a coconut smell (very candy-like). However, I was very disappointed when I read the ingredients list on the tub....... The actual ingredients list contains a lot more chemicals than the one showed in the photo by Fendrihan.Shame ! Fendrihan should put more effort and update the ingredients list at least in the text description.Very disappointed from this perspective !

This is my go-to shave cream. I love the smell of the coconut first thing in the morning. I have hard water and I use a brush - but it lathers up with a small amount of product used and creates a beautiful lustrous head of foam that goes on smooth and stays slick for the whole shave. I shave my whole head, which means more lathers per shave than most and more potential cuts or scrapes and with this shave cream - the nicks are minimal if any. It is a great product. I've tried others and still come back to this one every time. The other scents are just as good as this one - rich, soothing and rinse cleanly. After rinsing it doesn't leave a scent on the skin and preps the skin nicely for a good after shave balm or aftershave splash. This cream lathers so quickly - it's ridiculous. It definitely is a lather machine! I generated a huge amount of lather with a small amount of cream, and took about 20 second of whipping. The lather is rich and luxurious. Definitely recommend this over the Fendrihan store-brand of soap bars (the one I got with the Fendrihan shaving set).One thing I was a little let down with was the smell - I was expecting an awesome coconut smell the moment I opened the tub. This is not the case. You get a little bit of coconut scent, but there isn't much. Even after shaving you get barely make out the coconut scent. I will be trying out the Sandalwood scent soon - have heard good things about that one.Definitely recommend TOBS though - lathers like nothing I have seen before.

I do not like coconut. BUT my spouse does (she recently took up wet shaving too!) so I got this for her.I admit that though I am not a fan of coconut this does smell AMAZING. It is also a pleasure to shave with being very smooth and having good cushion. It is easy to lather to your desired consistency and leaves your skin feeling great!
Good lather but forget about a coconut hit for that morning shave. The smell is almost non existent, nothing like the soaps and shampoos available.Big disappointment.
Purchased 1 each Bond Street Coconut, Lavender and Sandalwood; I did not have any issues with packaging or leaky product. These products were used with single blade and multi-blade razors and badger hair brush (preferred) in rotation. Scent is not strong but lather is good - more refreshing than sweet perfume. Shave with any type of blade is excellent! I will continue to purchase Old Bond Street until I sense the quality is no longer there.

I'm learning as I try different products, I prefer shaving creams to soaps for their ability to lather and add a layer of slickness (protection) to my face. Don't get me wrong, several soaps/croaps I've tried from WCS have smelled wonderful and been great products; however, my face is dry and more irritated after a shave with a soap. I presume it is the lubrication and slickness found in creams such as: Omega, Crown Shaving Company Shaving Cream, and The Piccadilly Shaving Company, Sandalwood; to name a few. The coconut scent is very pleasant—best of all, it takes very little to lather up my face. I am in the military and shave every day, so I appreciate how little it takes to get the job done. I will definitely buy this or another scent again.
I originally bought this for my husband for his Christmas stocking in a different scent...sandalwood if I recall. It was the first time he tried it and he has been hooked ever since! The coconut is my second favorite scent...very light can barely smell it. But what it does for his skin....I love how smooth and soft it makes his face!!!!! My husband wears a mustache and a goatee. He can easily grown a full beard in a couple of days, so shaving is extremely important to him...and me. My husband has oily prone skin, and this product isn't greasy. But my favorite scent is the sandalwood...very sexy scent!!!! Both scents do not linger all day, but when he begins his shave and right afterwards...that sandalwood gets me every time!!!!! I love this shaving cream bowl from Taylor of Old Bond Street. I don't think I have ever used a shaving cream that made a better lather. Lots of the shaving creams and soaps make up bubbles which are fair for shaving, but this stuff produces a genuine lather. It does a great job on softening the beard and letting my razor glide across my face. I think I even have nicked myself fewer times using this. I recommend it strongly!
