I received this soundbar from TCL and Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I am quite impressed. This soundbar is replacing an old, bulky soundbar that I have had for a while. It looks really good and compact. I also enjoy that it audibly tells you what input method it’s set on. The quality of sound is very high, but don’t expect a ton of bass from this unit. I was easily able to connect this soundbar to my TV using an optical cable and I also easily connected my phone to listen to music. This soundbar is light weight and comes with mounting hardware. I definitely recommend this soundbar to watch movies or listen to music.

I received this product from Influenster and TCL in return of my honest review. I love the size of this sound bar, it fits under the tv nicely and doesn’t stand out too much. It connected great to my TCL Roku tv. It has so many great features including Bluetooth. It makes for a great movie night! I love using this sound bar while watching day to day tv shows also though! It really brings in a great surround sound experience to my living room! This is a great, sturdy product and is worth every penny for the job it does! Great value!

I decided to get a sound bar because we were having trouble hearing voices as the music would drown out the voice. I would constantly rewind just to try and make out what was said in a movie. Now with this sound bar and using its voice enhancement I can clearly hear everything. I'm using eArc hdmi. But you have auxiliary and optical if needed. Also a usb port if you want to play from your music library. Lastly it is a big Bluetooth speaker! Really cool. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit under my TCL TV because of the led light under the TV. So I put it behind the TV and it's just fine. It does come with wall mounts if that is your thing. And yes you can dim the led on top of the sound bar. Very pleased with this purchase.

My husband installed it quite quickly. There are many ways for you to install it: on the wall, on a flat surface... but I choose to put it on a flat surface near the TV as a decoration, it looks very luxurious in the living room. The speakers easily connect wirelessly to each other, making the bass even deeper so my family can comfortably enjoy bass-heavy music genres to the fullest. Overall this is a great soundbar and easy to install/ set up. My only gripe is the eARC HDMI connection was extremely unstable, it would cut out for 5-10 seconds of audio every 10 minutes or so. I fixed this by connecting it to my TCL tv via optical. This isn’t ideal though, as optical connection apparently renders the CEC function unusable, meaning I can’t use my Roku remote to control the volume when it’s connected via optical, I can only use the TCL soundbar remote. That’s why I can’t give it 5 stars.I’m not sure if the audio issues with eARC is a TCL issue or an eARC issue— I’ve seen a lot online about eARC being unstable by design. But regardless, the result is the same for the consumer so it’s sort of a distinction without difference.
This sound bar offers a lot of bang for your buck. The sound quality is really impressive. I enjoy the multiple sound settings that is offered to use for gaming, standard, and movie theater. I did not list them all. The sub woofer is amazing and it is so impressive when you are not expecting it too. This product is a great product but even more amazing than the product is the customer service from TCL. I have been impressed when I have communicated with them. Not only do they take the time to listen and help you. They get in contact once the service ticket is closed and make sure you are doing well and the product is working property. If you want a great quality soundbar and a very affordable price please really think about TCL.
Pretty cheap compared to the rest. I was skeptical at first due to the brand not being the most well known for audio but I was definitely surprised to heae the sound quality at both low and high volumes. If connected to a TCL TV, you plug it all in and the tv prompts you if youd like to set it up and you do the rest with the tv remote. It all sets up extremely fast also. The sound quality definitely compares to a lot more well known expensive brands. I would definitely recommend. It also has bluetooth to use for your phone. You just have to download the TCL home app to use the bluetooth for your phone.
I recently purchased this soundbar to complement my TCL Q7. Setting it up was surprisingly simple; it only took me about 6 minutes to connect everything. For $159, having Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual X, and a wireless subwoofer feels like a steal. While there are better options out there, the value for money is impressive. I look forward to see how the soundbar continues to perform while having these features. However, I did encounter some minor issues. One of them is that it's sometimes hard to gauge how much I've adjusted the different modes because the indicator lights are directly above the soundbar. Occasionally, I had to peek up to check. Nevertheless, this is not a deal breaker for me. What I'm getting out of this soundbar outweighs that minor inconvenience.
The TCL S55H is a great soundbar for the price on sale. Great for a small / spare game or TV room. Obviously its not as good as more expensive audio systems but it is sufficient. Dialogue is clear, music is pretty good, and subwoofer hits pretty deep. It is also quite compact in size easy to fit smaller rooms. It looks reasonably attractive, and all metal/plastic/wood, no fabric materials that easily get dirty / rip. For the budget and modest requirements its pretty hard to find a better bargain.
i have it hooked up to my frame TV.it is so easy to connect to TV by ARC or BT,especially it is very powerful and has wonderful sound quality. it gives me a theatre felling,so It is worth and recommended to buy.I went to a Best Buy store to look at soundbars before. The sales recommended several models to me. After understanding them, I finally chose this one. The online order was delivered very quickly. the soundbar is so easy to connect to my TV by ARC or BT,especially it is very powerful and has wonderful sound quality. it gives me a theatre felling,so It is worth and recommended to buy
