The initial setup of this TV probably took the longest of any television I have ever installed.Physically very easy!Some of the menus and connections to different apps are really counter intuitiveWhen you finally get past all that the TV has a great picture sound is good. TV guides etc easy to understand. It even has live TV recording and pausing via a larger USB option which works well (apart from the annoying screen display showing you are recording /

Our tv wasnt on display and it wasnt turned on. It was hidden away from the brightly coloured expensive tvs. It was on sale because it was to be a discontinued model. There was one left in the back & floor stock - so we chose floor stock and got more of a discount. A huge 65 tv for $600 instead of $1000. We love it. We took out a 5 year gold policy on it as insurance but also so we can be in the club where you can apply to trial and test products and you get to keep them. Even things worth hundreds and over 1k ! Worth it.

Clear picture, lots of features, light bleed is minimal and a lot better than I've seen from more expensive brands. 4k picture is crisp and clear. Obviously it's not top of the range amazing ooo ahhh picture but for the price and size of it I couldn't be happier. Having it in the bedroom too feels like being at the cinemas just so much more comfortable! Also love the built in chromecast

Obviously it's not top of the range amazing ooo ahhh picture but for the price and size of it I couldn't be happier. Having it in the bedroom too feels like being at the cinemas just so much more comfortable! Also love the built in chromecast
Good value tv. Great picture but note it has a max of 300 nits brightness. So HDR images can look a bit dark. You can however make adjustments to make it look good. In built apps that work well or plug in a streaming box or stick. In all, very good value for money and would definitely recommend.
Screen colours are off, and occasionally change while watching something. I have played with the visual settings but it still does it. Audio isn't great either. However it's cheap. You get what you pay for. It works, android system is great, downloading apps is easy. It's fine. My main is a Samsung, the difference is huge...but so is the price. Oh, the remote is a bit annoying too, you have to aim it directly at the tv. And occasionally I have to turn the TV off at the wall for it to reconnect to the internet.
Not happy at all ,I bought this TV for my late wife so she could enjoy the extra features that where lacking on our previous TCL 50 INCH . We had no issues with our previous TCL and expected the same level of satisfaction with the new TCL . I'm sorry but the only thing good about it is free to air , anything else is a huge dissapointment . The set constantly loose wifi and internet conections to the point that some nights half way thru a show it just stops working so many times I just turn it back to TV mode and turn it off ang go read a book . IF I was not a pensioner I would go buy Samsung or Sony to replace it .
A good tv, clear picture. But the guide on tv stations needs a rewrite. If you move away from the channel for a second it forgets what was programmed, and takes a long time to update. Often I resort to looking at phone for whats on tv just now because the guide takes so long and loses info as soon as you move up or down to a different channel.Good sound good picture poor software programming
Im very disappointed, my previous tv was also a TCL I loved it had fantastic picture but only lasted 4 yrs. I decided to bye it again because I liked it, unfortunately this is not the same with this one the picture is slightly fuzzy. I checked on the internet and set the picture according to their specifications , so was told I need a 4K Hdmy cable,so I bought one , well made no difference. I do not recommend this tv only because of the poor picture quality.
I bought this tv about 3 weeks ago. I found that the refresh rate CMR100 is too slow for sport programs. Turning tv on takes bout 25-30 seconds. The sound is tinny. I bought a TCL Sound Bar, which fixed the problem. My fault.. Price paid was good. I should have bought the TCL P725 model and paid the extra money. CMR200 speed is a necessary refresh rate for Thanks
I did extensive research online and on YouTube and TCL consistently rated highly as a value for money TV. We weren't after a premium brand like Samsung or Sony for our family room TV. However, I can't see why you need to spend the premium dollar price tag. For the price, the picture and features are brilliant and so far, the TV has performed flawlessly. And, the three year warranty from TCL was very appealing with most brands of offering one year requiring more money for additional warranties.
