The result is rich, involving and expansive sound with smooth and detailed highs that allow you to hear every detail.In addition, the EAH-AZ40M2 support High-Resolution Audio Quality with Bluetooth and LDAC technology1, providing a wide dynamic sound range with fast response and high definition. The EAH-AZ40M2 improve on their predecessor, the EAH-AZ40, with Technics Active Noise Cancellation, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your music or work without being distracted by outside noise. A digital software filter and feedforward microphone effectively suppress noise from outside the earphones, providing a high level of noise cancellation. The level of noise cancellation can vary greatly from person to person due to differences in ear shape and other factors. For this reason, earpieces are included in four different sizes to find the perfect fit; from extra small to large. In an industry first, the EAH-AZ40M2s support multipoint connections with up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously, allowing you to seamlessly switch between sources. The EAH-AZ40M2s use two MEMS microphones to actively isolate the voice and reduce ambient noise with beamforming technology, so you can have clear conversations even in noisy environments or when working from home. A total of four microphones - two on each ear - ensure comfortable, natural phone conversations. The EAH-AZ40M2 can be operated freely when using only the left or right earphones. In the Technics Audio Connect app, touch-and-hold, single, double and triple tap actions (e.g. volume up/down, forward/back, ambient or noise cancelling mode on/off) can be adjusted to personal preferences. You can even assign specific actions to one earbud or the other. The ability to customise the earbuds greatly expands the personalisation options, especially if you only want to use a single earbud. The EAH-AZ40M2 last 7 hours on a single charge (24 hours with the charging base) and 5.5 hours with active noise cancellation (18 hours with the charging base). The Technics Audio Connect app makes it easy to configure and control the EAH-AZ40M2, offering voice assistant compatibility2 and the ability to adjust sound mode settings. A battery check function, a super bass equaliser and the ability to switch between voice and sound effects are new settings offered in the app. You can take the EAH-AZ40M2 virtually anywhere, as they are water resistant and meet IPX4 standards, which means the earphones will remain unscathed even if splashed with water from any direction. Alexa is also integrated into the EAH-AZ40M2.
