In addition to the fantastic synth and FX engine, the OP-Z features a powerful sequencer that can now control external hardware such as synthesizers and Eurorack systems, thanks to the OPlab module. The OPlab module can be easily integrated into the OP-Z without compromising the minimalist design of the compact workstation. I was hesitant to get the opz even though I love TE’s pocket operator line. It’s not expensive for a synth or groovebox or whatever else you want to compare it to. I was unsure if it would be easy and fun to use, which were my main concerns. I decided to get it and have loved every minute with it. It is so easy with the companion app but you quickly learn to use it without a screen. I was surprised at how natural it feels to create something with it. Plus all the features make it incredibly fun. This is a great bundle too with the case and module, it would be a lot more with everything separate, so it’s a great buy and it came fast! Very happy and highly recommend it if you are thinking about it.

I’m very pleased that the Op Lab that I purchased does indeed provide extended I/O for my OP-Z. Thanks for providing it at a good price even if it did take a while to get here. (I didn’t stupidly realise that it had become a European store and thought the product was in Romford!, what a silly goose I am)
The OP-Z is a pretty cool piece of kit on its own, but the Oplab module increases its value by quite a bit as a means to connect 3.5 / DIN MIDI in and out, and/or control voltage outputs, giving you a powerful but very portable sequencer for external gear. The roll-up bag is useful too and can carry not just the OP-Z but USB cables, the MIDI-TRS adapter, etc, in a very small space.The pricing on this bundle is a great deal.I bought my OP-1 and the original Oplab in a similar bundle years ago and both units have brought me many years of use (even though the original Oplab had its issues). This Oplab Module is even better as it fits right into the OP-Z and doesn't require any extra power.
I found the entire experience extremely pleasant. The item was competitively priced, postage was quick and the parcel was carefully wrapped and secured. No drama!
