I have never cooked with a pressure cooker before and I am enjoying it! It doesn't cook rice very well but cooks other dishes really well especially pasta. I am disappointed that it doesn't have the stainless steel bowl like the USA and hopefully it will be an option to Australia soon.

Great appliance for those that are short on time. We have a newborn and dont have a lot of free time to be cooking with a heap of food prep and cookware. Would give 5 stars but find the included recipe book a bit lacklustre although those enclosed are very easy and super delicious.
Purchased earlier this week. Cooked a veggie soup with meat. Meat was very tender. Would have liked a bigger instruction book with many more recipes. Suppose it will be "trial & error"
We've been using the cooker for almost everyday now; I couldn't be happier. Makes cooking faster, less effort, less stress, more time to do some other stuff while waiting for the food to cook. Also, as gas rates are higher than electricity, it might be a good idea to shift. For us, this is still to be seen in the next billing cycle. :) Really recommend this for people where time is of essence.
The timer on this cooker basically stopped working after I bought it 2 months ago. It kept showing the pressure building up but the timer didn't come on. Called customer service & they said to take it into some third party repairer, and they weren't available - not answering calls or emails. The product itself was clunky to use and the lid was giving problems from day 1 - kept getting error messages. One error message I got was E6 and the manual doesn't even list what E6 is. What a joke. The product is a cheap buy and you basically get you what you pay for. Never again buying any Tefal rubbish again.
This is one of my favourite purchases. Easy to operate, quick and versatile it replaces my slow cooker and rice cooker... I have done slow roasts, risottos, cakes, stewed veg. Highly recommended.
After a few hiccups at the start trying to work out why I kept getting an error message out of the box, I figure out how the lid worked and have used it every day since. Slow cooking, browning, rice (risotto) and pressure cooking. The receipe book that comes with it is limited but essentially any slow cook receipe can be used or search the internet for 'one pot' recipes, there are hundreds. I've been able to replicate make my own stove top receipes in it now just following a similar recipe from the book for the timing/temp setting, or a bit of experimentation. I love it and would highly recommend it.
Pros: Fast, easy cooking. Does what it says will do. Great for stews, soups and caseroles.Cons: When i programed the time manually for a meal i did end up with a few burnt bits. Learning to trust the inbuilt timer!
