I had heard great things about air fryers but didn’t want another bulky appliance. Well, I’m glad I got one in the end because it makes getting dinner ready so much quicker. Especially with a toddler! The basket is spacious and cooks food beautifully, I’ve made steak, salmon, roast veggies that are crispy and never soggy. One star lost because the tray in the basket sits a bit awkwardly and one of the rubber feet was already a bit torn.

Simple to use, perfect cook! We have been making fries almost everyday and damn! they are good and crispy! Best part, no oil! Same for the chicken drumsticks, nuggets etc we tried with this airfryer. Only thing you need to be mindful of, it requires users to shake the basket/inner container half way through (if fries etc are stacked) so keep an eye on that! No matter what's written on manual, half way through, remove the basket, shake it and insert it back.

The air fryer is healthier, quicker, less expensive to use and most importantly makes the best chips and roast vegetables! There's nothing not to love about the air fryer except the handle will eventually need replacing. When the handle on our last one eventually gave way we looked at other models but came back to this one because we know it does a fantastic job, holds a good amount and the price.

Dad is in his 90's now and still living independently in the big family home. The gas oven is very old, the door is unstable and lighting it is difficult. Dad continues to prepare his own meals - his favorite food are pies and chips. As Fathers Day was approaching, I wanted to buy something that was useful and would make dad's life easier, so I bought an air fryer. He loves it - so easy to use! He can now prepare a whole new range of foods - in a safe and healthy way. I have since bought one for myself!
I've had my Tefal Airfryer for a couple of months now but I'm about to get rid of it. It's great and was rated highly by 'Choice', which was why we bought it in the first place. However, there's two major drawbacks to consider: 1. it's very noisy 2. the drawer has slits the whole way around and from top to bottom - that's great for even and fast cooking - but it makes it impossible to tip out any excess oil that has gathered in the bottom in order to clean it. This is definitely not the cheapest airfryer on the market and so I was disappointed.
Very happy with the product. It's like a small oven. So, if you are cooking for a couple of people you don't have to fire the big wall oven. This does an excellent job in baking, grilling and mimics pan frying. I have made pizza (bit tricky), chicken, fries/chips, chicken nuggets/schnitzel/tenders, salmon, small cakes and pies etc. in it with great results. Very easy to use, just set the temp and time. It gets to work fast. Especially good in reheating food (leftover fries/chips, pizza slices etc), much better than a microwave. It is really quick too. It is a lot easier to clean (takes less than 2 mins.) than the traditional wall oven (I usually open the oven door, stare inside, scratch my head for 2 mins. and say 'laterzz'). I haven't burnt anything (yet) while experimenting and it was fun. All in all a great product. Easy to use/clean, quick, efficient with delicious results.
Thats right, if you want to add an appliance that never leaves the bench top then this is for you!I purchased as a gift for my husband that does most of the cooking, it is so easy to use! and cooks the best fired food with no effort at all...But even for everyday, cooks amazing crunchy skin on Tasmanian salmon... The best potatoes with skin on! Easy to clean "just be careful" as the little plastic protection feet break quite easily.. But it is foolproof!
The first time using it, I can smell burning plastic. Despit effort to follow all the instruction for making chips (incl soaking potatoes for 30mins ), the end result is not evenly cooked. I have to re-do an uncooked batch. There is no on and off button, relying on taking in and out the sliding pot, and once you set the timer to max, you cant rotate back the timer. The positive side is easy washing.
Bought this to make healthier chips for my son. What a disappointment. Despite shaking the tray mid cook and following the instructions to the letter - they come out unevenly cooked and soggy. Barely any information included in the box - basically a three page pictorial and warranty / safety information. No recipes, no inspiration. A huge disappointment. How do I return???
I bought this air fryer as a replacement for another brand, thinking I was getting a better quality one. The timer is difficult to get the exact time for cooking by just having a dial 10/20/30 minutes etc. not 2/3/4 you might as well use your cooking timer on your microwave instead. The basket doesn’t slide in and out of the fryer easily as you have to jiggle it to get it back in especially when you need to check on your food and in the meantime the timer is still going. Thinking Tefal was a good brand and I was lucky to purchase it at a special price I am extremely disappointed and I wish I had purchased another brand.
