I would recommend this product, it cooks food to perfection quicker than conventional methods. With the air fryer you can cook anything you would cook in a conventional oven but a lot quicker and easier to clean. The additional grill you can cook anything you would cook in a frying pan and cooks steak to perfection. The steamer is great for vegetables and fish and you can use a combination of the grill, air fry and steamer. With its large capacity we have cooked joints , full chickens, pies and full breakfasts. It not only cooks quicker than normal but uses less electric than using the oven. With the price of electric at the moment we use this all the time with great results

I’ve had my 3 in 1 air fryer for a few days only. I made 3 meals sand far. All came out perfectly cooked. I used the air fry and steam options so far. Both worked great!!The only things I would make better are:1) the tray plates (grill and air fry trays) are not holding up straight.. which means food slits forward and down, and it doesn’t make much sense.2) the draw isn’t too easy to clean and it’s hard to scoop food and water out of it. As it’s quite large and deep. It would be helpful if a basket of some sort was included.3) definitely better instructions needed but I figured it out in the end. Bigger and colorful pics and explanations would be very helpful.Overall it’s an amazing piece of machine.

This is a new way to cook for us, having always used a conventional oven and to a lesser extent, a microwave. It takes a little getting used to, but the results we have had from it have been really good. As yet we haven't used the steamer function having only had the appliance for a short time, so I can't comment on that function. As far as we are concerned, the thing that lets it down is the poor set of instructions that come with it, being a book with a lot of "easy to understand" pictures which we find far from easy to understand!! Also a lot of the recipes which can be found online are not things we would normallycook, so not much help there. As the cooking times and temperatures are different to a conventional oven, it would be nice to have an instruction book ... We wanted to try out an air fryer to see if we could cut down our electric bills and to see whether there was any difference in using a conventional oven. So far this has been great. We've done a full size medium chicken in 60 mins, tender and moist, lamb chops and steak on the grill, very good, and sea bream with the steamer, perfect! AND we've halved our electric usage! Our only comment is that we need to get used to the strength of the cooking times as it's quite a powerful machine and we're used to the timings of a conventional oven so need to dial it back a bit. You can't cook multiple items either, as in a triple shelf oven, so it's a question of adjusting your mindset.Other than that, once we've finished experimenting, I'm sure it'll become our standard way ... This 3-In-1 device is quite large, but sleek design & simple presets, combined with manual temperature and timer adjustments & versatility, made this machine a space saver in the end!Key features were; large capacity for big households, timers to allow multitasking (inc after work/ school!), the flavour of foods, & the ease with which I could clean the device with warm soapy water.I particularly loved the combined steam & grill option, which meant pork chops were juicy & fully cooked in no time. This does the job of more than 3 others; cooking through to the middle like a pressure cooker, draining fat like a health grill & cooking quickly like a microwave, but without rubbery dry results!Overall I loved this device & I will be donating many other small ... Great for families & multi-tasking, which reduces time & fat content, & increases nutrients saved by shorter cooking times. TIP: Underestimate cooking times until you are used to the device!
Pros: Although it’s called an air fryer, you can use it as a small, waist-height fan oven. Ideal for one or two. The steamer is a good feature for fish. I’ve only used it for a few ingredients so far - mainly meat and roast potatoes - and, after a bit of practice, found the best settings that give crisp and tasty results. I don’t use my large oven any more.Cons: The instruction book is useless and the print is too small. A few starter meal guides would be helpful, especially those aimed at cooking small portions for one or two.
Since buying our Air Fryer, we've only needed to switch our normal oven on a couple of times. I've been able to use this instead for most of the things we normally cook.I've cooked sausages, pre prepared lasagnes and fish pies, pizza (i had to cut the big ones in half first to get them to fit in) and great tasting corn on the cobs.It nicely crisps up baked potatoes - although i do start these off in the microwave for speed. We've grilled amazing steaks too - something we were a little sceptical about initially!A joint of pork with the best crackling I've ever produced was my favourite! The steamer function is very simple to use and I've cooked all the usual weekday veg this way too - mainly carrots, broccoli and asparagus. The only disappointment is the ... I went online and joined a couple of air fryer facebook groups to get some ideas of how to best use the machine and then just worked out for myself the times and temperatures. Once you get started its really simple.Very easy to clean - the instructions included with the product indicate that the basket and plates shouldn't go into the dishwasher, so I've been washing them up by hand - the basket really is non stick and I haven't had to do more than give it a soak in soapy water for a couple of moments then use a soft sponge to wipe it clean.Great product - would recommend.
***The whole reason I'm leaving such a lengthy review is in case anyone finds themselves in my position I'd encourage them not to waste the time I did and return it within the allowed timeframe. Don't make the same stupid mistake I did and hope it would work out and end up with a useless plastic box that cost several hundred pounds and won't ever be used again***I was so excited to get my air fryer/steamer. The steamer function is an excellent add on feature. My previous cheaper air fryer died a death after just 12 months of use and when I realised whenever the air fryer was used 9 times out of 10 I was also steaming vegetables separately, this was a common sense purchase.I was a bit worried about the quality when on its very first wipe down out of the box part of the Tefal name came away, but I shouldn't have been concerned. It's way more solid than the cheap one it replaced. Everything washed really easily before the first use, no awkward little nooks and crannies, so it was ready to go.I started it up (empty) and ran a steam cycle just to "rinse" anything through before food went in. It had a really strong plastic type smell which a lot of small cooking appliances seem to have on 1st use so I wasn't at all worried. That night I used the grill function and the steamer. It still smelled quite strongly while cooking. On first bite I got a very odd taste - I could now taste that plastic smell I got beforehand. Stupid me I thought, I mustn't have scrubbed it as well as I thought. I was pretty sure nothing I had eaten would kill me anyway, and I lived to tell the tale. The following day I was still as excited to use it. This time is was the steam function and just regular air frying. AGAIN, I got that smell and then the taste. By now I was a bit concerned but thought it's a hefty piece of equipment, maybe it's just taking longer for that plastic afterburn to wear off.I persevered. Sure enough it did ease a little bit but it never went away. I kept on using it thinking maybe if it's going bit by bit then it'll go for good eventually. We went on holidays, came back and life went in as usual, so I stopped thinking about it as much, but the smell/taste was always there, every time.I realised recently subconsciously I've been far less inclined to use it than I was my old one because I know my food won't taste as it should at all. My oven use practically tripled compared to what it was last year when I had my previous airfryer.Today I used it again after about 5 days of not, washed it before use in case it helped sort out the taste problem because maybe it was from the drawer part being closed up, but it was back as strong as ever.I've finally accepted I've just wasted several hundred pounds trying to convince myself it will work out ok and I am absolutely gutted. It's only a few weeks old and I honestly can't see myself wanting to use it again. As we know anything we smell or taste we're also ingesting and I'm really worried about eating any more of whatever has stayed in my food to make it taste like burnt plastic. Maybe the fact the Tefal name written on the plastic came away on first wipe down isn't as insignificant as I thought.Hopefully my unit is a once off, and judging by the great reviews that encouraged me to buy it nobody else seems to have had the same problem. As I said just in the unlikely event you do notice it has an odd smell and taste, don't waste the time I did and let the return window run out.
Excellent air fryer with good selection of auto cooking menus with manual override. It's amazing how quickly and perfectly the cooker works. We often do roast chicken, roast potatoes and carrots, parsnips, etc all in the same basin in about 60mins. Element power is 2kW. Good for most things, But cakes and bread, etc. takes some practice. On the downside the user manual is a horrible series of tiny drawings with no text and only some features explained. The online Tefal recipes also do not cover any of the basics, it rather launches into fancy cooking, none of which we, personally, would ever use.
Pros: This fryer is great, the 3 in one option is more than enough to cook your dinner! I totally love the steam function, steams the broccoli or fish in 10 min, no more boiling water, pans, etc- clean and perfect. The airfryer does what an airfryer is supposed to, and the grill one is great for meat. The touch menu works really good very stylish and modern. Cooks perfect, and super fast. The tray is rather large too, more than enough for 2-4 persons.Cons: I hated that I had to put up with the plastic smell in the beginning, even on chips and meat, I threw away lots of food. Be sure you put some water with apple vinegar in the beginning, a few times, as the plastic taste will not go away easy. Now it's ok, but it was an issue at the beginning. Also hate the 2 ... Also hate the 2 screws which are from the handle, I mean they're metallic and literally inside the tray, touching anything you cook. Major design flaw. It is rather large so ge sure to check dimensions it see it in person in the shop.
