With the 3rd generation Pure Strike Team, Babolat delivers a racket with a more dampened feel but retains the excellent playability of the previous generation. As the lightest and fastest member of the Pure Strike family, this 285 gram racket is ideal for intermediate players who want controllable power, easy spin and a great feel. Like the previous generation, it features a hybrid frame construction (Control Frame Technology) that combines the control and feel of a rectangular frame with the speed and dynamics of a modern elliptical frame. This racket also features FSI Power technology, with increased spacing between the top cross strings to significantly improve spin and pace. New to this racket is C2 Pure Feel, a material technology that combines cortex with a uniquely flexible viscoelastic rubber material at 3 and 9 o'clock for more comfort and longer ball dwell time in the stringbed. On groundstrokes, the Pure Strike Team feels direct, spin-friendly and precise, with very predictable trajectories on full-length swings. It's also quite fast and is great for fighting your way out of a defensive situation, or even for hitting a winning shot from the run. The manoeuvrability continues on the volley and return, with the Pure Strike Team getting into position with remarkable ease. As with the heavier Pure Strike models, the Team has a great feel for playing mean stop balls or depositing the ball in tight spaces. Ultimately, the Pure Strike Team is a great option for those looking for a lightweight and user-friendly performance racket with easy targeting from all areas of the court.
