I love the thicker sole of these. So many of the Original model Tevas have too thin of a sole and don't really feel comfortable or useful for anything other than running to the mailbox. These are like the pair I had in the very early 90s and feel great hiking or wearing all day. There is a break in period, which is weird today, as the textured surface takes some getting used to if you haven't worn a pair in awhile, but it's well worth it. I wish Teva would make more pairs with this thicker sole. I also wish the back strap was adjustable, but that's minor.

I love TEVA sandals and these are absolutely perfect they are the most comfortable things that have ever adorned my feet, if you’re contemplating getting a pair just do it you won’t be disappointed.
