Turned out to be more comfortable than they looked. Suitable for long walks. Despite the fact that the straps are quite stiff, they don't chafe. But! If they get wet /after the beach/ they chafe terribly.On my wide 36, took 37 - normal fit, in width tighten, the strap which is along a little long, but in front of the toes there is a space of the sole, which is good.

I love the thicker sole of these. So many of the Original model Tevas have too thin of a sole and don't really feel comfortable or useful for anything other than running to the mailbox. These are like the pair I had in the very early 90s and feel great hiking or wearing all day. There is a break in period, which is weird today, as the textured surface takes some getting used to if you haven't worn a pair in awhile, but it's well worth it. I wish Teva would make more pairs with this thicker sole. I also wish the back strap was adjustable, but that's minor.

I really like the multi color and was looking forward to having these to wear on my upcoming trip, but there's no way I'm gonna be able to wear them. The straps rub on my pinky toes on both feet in just the short while Inwore them aroubd my house. I can't imagine they'd be comfortable all day if they're rubbing already. I've tried loosening the straps and that doesn't help either. They're just not a good fit for me. I was hoping they'd be wide enough and comfortable. Unfortunately, I'll be returning them.
