Now, Fyi, I love skyrim. I'd played every ounce of it on the PS3 and thought (as its official, I'm on the Xbox now) that I'd buy it for the Xbox along with the prima legendary edition game guide. The thieves guild the main quest, even Fus Ro Dah'ing a giant across the greenlands of Skyrim is awesome. So why 4 stars? Why not 5? Well it's because Skyrim is so cold it made my game freeze too.I played it for 3 hours last night. And from entering new areas it frozen. 7. Flaming. Times. Incredibly buggy in comparison to the PS3 version the only thing that makes up for it is... Well, it's elder scrolls mate!Peace and love and consider fixing these Bethseda,Ryan. P.s I'm slightly let down :(

I bought this Anniversary Edition to replace my Legendary Edition (2016, no CC). It has been a vast improvement over the older editions. Fighting feels more fluid, the graphics have greatly improved (no matter how high I mountain-goat into the mountain tops where the older editions would start breaking down into simple geometric shapes), and I swear that everyone has a few more voice lines. The free addition of everything from Creation Club (which my older edition couldn't access) has been almost overwhelming. Feels like a completely different game. So, if you're thinking that you already played it, on an older edition, I would strongly recommend that you update to the Anniversary Edition.

I've got Oldrim, SE, xbox360 version and switch version. Add this to my list. It's regular old Skyrim but in VR, so obviously it's going to be a 5 star rating. Some people aren't the biggest fan of the basic VR version and suggest mods to make it playable, but it's still great bare bones. With mods however, it IS so much better. I play on an Index so utilizing the finger tracking with mods was great. It's great to finally be able to use a bow and arrow how I always wanted. One of the reasons I got the switch version was because the commercial made it seem like I could pull the string back and shoot. You cannot. THIS however, you can. This was a well worth it purchase.

Honestly, this game has been one of my favorite games to ever play. Sure it has glitches; it was made in 2011. However, those glitches are what make Syrim, Skyrim. Whether it's the fortify restoration loop or invisible chests, they make this game. Not only does it perfectly combine RPG with everything else, but it succeeds at something many games haven't, and that is never running out of things to do. Even if you 100% the game completely, you can just restart, and get back on that carriage. I have lost countless hours playing this game and honestly, it's worth it. Some of the questlines are less than enjoyable, but many other aspects of Skyrim make up for it.

Skyrim was released in 2011, ever since I've been playing. this is a good game for someone that likes adventures. the lore of Skyrim has everything from elves to orcs. mages, wizards dragons, Kajit are cat like beings that are master traders, thieves and ruthless cut throats. I love this game been playing for thirteen years and I've beat the main quest, however the game never runs out of things for you to do. This is a open world, build your character, survive the onslaught of enemies

The game is absolutely outstanding! The graphics are amazing and spectacular. I love the interactions with characters in the game, but i still do feel that there should be a greater variety of communication between the townspeople and the dragonborn. The quest lines are great and definitely interesting to the point where you're just absolutely hooked! The combat, weapons, and armor are astounding and amazingly magnificent, great work on the entire game. This isn't quite everything but overall the game is absolutely breathtaking, it's like you are being put into an entire different world. I've had an amazing experience playing the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and I still am. I would definitely suggest anyone to play this game, for it is so good. Great Game - However be careful with used PC games

First off, great interactive game with hours and hours of gameplay in the Medieval setting with an open world exploration. Dragons and trolls and bandits, crazy fun adventure. However beware where you purchase this game, I "bought" for a great price that supported donations, but the product I received was a used copy with an invalid product key (needed to install the game). Because the key was already used I could not install this game therefore my purchase was a literal donation as the disc is useless without it. I do own copies for consoles, just wanted it on PC. Great game regardless.

[Rewarded Review] A Bit Clunky, but Scarily Addicting

I have somewhere around 40hrs in this game and I quite like it. It's not my usual cup of tea, but I have fun being a menace in the simulated society.My dad however, is a completely different kind of player. He was curious about it one night when he saw me playing for a bit. I set him up on my guest account creating a character and I basically lost my Switch for an entire month after that!!So, I bought him this physical copy and we transferred his save data over (fairly easy process btw, thanks Nintendo). Graphically this stands toe to toe with the PS3 or XBOX 360 versions, albeit with some sacrifices on draw distance and things popping up far away. The framerate is solid and while I haven't got to the big action pieces yet, what I have seen is impressive. Even more so given that until now, this game has never been on a portable system. There are no 'mods' (adjustments to the game made by fans) on it, so you can only play the game proper (sorry Thomas the Tank Engine fans), but again it is an absolute revelation that it plays and looks as well as it does on the not-as-powerful Nintendo Switch. New to the Switch version is motion controls and amiibo functionality. The motion controls you may or may not like but they are done fairly well-especially if you go the archer route. The amiibos give you treasure chests, but only once every 24 hours. A cool addition is that you can get Zelda exclusives, including the Hylian Shield, BOTW Tunic, and...The Master Sword!!!-when you use zelda based amiibo. Its random but they occur fairly often. Don't worry if you don't have Zelda amiibo, these Switch exclusives occur in game at some point as well. Playing this I realize that Breath of the Wild got a lot of inspiration from the gameplay of Skyrim.The bottom line: If you have never played Skyrim this is a must buy! If you have never experienced Skyrim before think Breath of the Wild meets Game of Thrones. There is alot to learn and not a lot of hand holding but its a 5 star game. If you owned this and played it already then I cant say this version justifies revisiting Skyrim once again as $60 is a lot for a 6 year old game. That it is portable now may entice those who played to shell out another $60 for the ability to drop in on the inhabitants of Tamriel once again.

I've bought Skyrim for more systems than I can remember at this point. I believe this purchase marks the fifth or sixth time I have bought it, including once before for Switch. I originally traded my Switch version because the controls felt so horrible. With the standard Joy-Cons, this game came close to unplayable for me. Everything felt very slow and ponderous, even when I cranked up the controller sensitivity. I ended up buying a Pro Controller (which is great, by the way), and Skyrim became tolerable. Not fabulous, but tolerable, although I still had to crank up the controller sensitivity and deal with some vertiginous moments. I will admit that the smaller screen of the Lite means I have to squint at some of the text (this is what happens when you get old, kids), but it's not like I end up with headaches. Instead, I can play Skyrim from a fully charged battery down until it tells I need to plug in or lose data. That's got to be 3 hours, at least, which is not typical for me.I love that I can play in bed, in an easy chair, in a boat, with a goat...this is a Switch Lite thing, not the game, but I can say with no hesitation that Skyrim works great in handheld mode. Really, really great. In fact, I would go so far as to say that playing Skyrim on the Switch Lite is my favorite way to play Skyrim. Who knows? I may actually finish the main quest this time.
