Now, Fyi, I love skyrim. I'd played every ounce of it on the PS3 and thought (as its official, I'm on the Xbox now) that I'd buy it for the Xbox along with the prima legendary edition game guide. The thieves guild the main quest, even Fus Ro Dah'ing a giant across the greenlands of Skyrim is awesome. So why 4 stars? Why not 5? Well it's because Skyrim is so cold it made my game freeze too.I played it for 3 hours last night. And from entering new areas it frozen. 7. Flaming. Times. Incredibly buggy in comparison to the PS3 version the only thing that makes up for it is... Well, it's elder scrolls mate!Peace and love and consider fixing these Bethseda,Ryan. P.s I'm slightly let down :(

I bought this Anniversary Edition to replace my Legendary Edition (2016, no CC). It has been a vast improvement over the older editions. Fighting feels more fluid, the graphics have greatly improved (no matter how high I mountain-goat into the mountain tops where the older editions would start breaking down into simple geometric shapes), and I swear that everyone has a few more voice lines. The free addition of everything from Creation Club (which my older edition couldn't access) has been almost overwhelming. Feels like a completely different game. So, if you're thinking that you already played it, on an older edition, I would strongly recommend that you update to the Anniversary Edition.

I have not played this game since I owned the boxed original back in the day, however this time I bought the latest version the Anniversary Edition and I did enjoy it, lot of massive spaces to explore, location and MANY MANY HOURS of play etc So you really get your money worth out of this game for sure. However I felt it lacked a decent story, ES IV was MUCH better in this regard. Now do not get me wrong I enjoyed it, but I found the game overall VERY easy, I found one weapon, the Nord Honed Hammer, hit level 29 with 93 double handed skill and every BIG baddie was 2 - 3 hits before they were dead, most however were 1 hit, with the exception of the dragons which took 6+ Hard swings to take down, and of course the bosses end boss in Dragon Slayer and the Vampire ... MoreI have not played this game since I owned the boxed original back in the day, however this time I bought the latest version the Anniversary Edition and I did enjoy it, lot of massive spaces to explore, location and MANY MANY HOURS of play etc So you really get your money worth out of this game for sure. I NEVER upgraded anything other than that, maybe speech a couple times. I NEVER EVER Spent money on weapons or armour, as I always found the weapon of choice for the majority of the game very early on including the Full Blade Armour with swapping out the gloves, boots and helmet twice, so even the gold / money system was silly, OH I bought a house and adopted a kid, other than that I never spent a coin on anything other than potions. Unlike the Fall Out series where you NEED to upgrade many aspects of your characters to get to hidden levels, quests etc, I found Skyrim just kinda handed it all to you on a silver platter. ES IV Oblivion is a much better game although not as pretty. Did I enjoy it? Hell yea, was ES IV and Morrowind better? Absolutely. After the main storyline and the vampire story line (Again I enjoyed that story line more than the main story line), I just found myself going through the motion of finishing side quests and not caring and lost interest. I put in 40 hours into the game so yea big bang for your buck for sure. It will be a very long time before I play this again. But those that have not played it for ages, it is worth a revisit. Just my two cents.

Honestly, this game has been one of my favorite games to ever play. Sure it has glitches; it was made in 2011. However, those glitches are what make Syrim, Skyrim. Whether it's the fortify restoration loop or invisible chests, they make this game. Not only does it perfectly combine RPG with everything else, but it succeeds at something many games haven't, and that is never running out of things to do. Even if you 100% the game completely, you can just restart, and get back on that carriage. I have lost countless hours playing this game and honestly, it's worth it. Some of the questlines are less than enjoyable, but many other aspects of Skyrim make up for it.
Skyrim is undeniably the game that got me into gaming. I’m now a full-fledged gamer after starting Skyrim so many years ago. I started playing on my Xbox 360 and have played it on an Xbox one and a pc. I originally received it as a hand-me-down game and I remember playing it for hours after beginning it. I’ve done several playthroughs and now, I even have a map of Skyrim above the pillows on my bed. If you are into fantasy, or rather even if you’re just into gaming, Skyrim is such an amazing game and I truly believe every gamer should try it at least once. The game itself is beautiful, especially for when it was made, but the quests are super interesting, the lore is attention-grabbing, and you can mod the game to your liking! There’s something for everyone in a game like Skyrim. I’d get lost in the world and the quests. Truly a phenomenal game. Skyrim will always hold a special place in my heart. And I believe I’ll always come back to it down my life. I hope to play it again soon. I’ve attached an image from my modded Xbox game!!
Skyrim was released in 2011, ever since I've been playing. this is a good game for someone that likes adventures. the lore of Skyrim has everything from elves to orcs. mages, wizards dragons, Kajit are cat like beings that are master traders, thieves and ruthless cut throats. I love this game been playing for thirteen years and I've beat the main quest, however the game never runs out of things for you to do. This is a open world, build your character, survive the onslaught of enemies
Three years after its release I still love playing this epic and most durable game on my ageing 360. I just wish i didn't need to sleep, or work, then i could just play skyrim the whole time and wouldn't need the fast travel option. Of course now with the DLC long since available online there's no real need to purchase Legendary Edition if you already own a standard copy but its a nice and affordable indulgence if you're fan like me and I feel, once the 360 ails and dies, that my copy will remain on the shelf like an old much beloved book for decades to come. Tops marks for the game and all the DLC including the totally pointless yet utterly addictive Skyrim equivalent to Grand Designs, where u build your own home. You get a nice little sticker in the box too.
Very happy with this game, both as far as a remaster goes and as a game that I can now take on the go wherever and whenever. Only briefly played the original game when it released over 10 years ago, was inticed to buy for the switch with the knowledge I could play when on journeys, breaks at work, sat in bed etc. All the textures in game are apparantly taken from the ps4/xbox one remaster and that shows. This game looks stunning as far as I am concerned. Looks better in handheld mode as the docked mode seems to upscale the quality. Still a massive open world with immense details and you can never go more than 2 minutes without running into a dungeon, dragon or giant. Very addictive gameplay and still holds up today even when compared to current games. Very addictive gameplay and still holds up today even when compared to current games. Some may be put off by a few of the older Bethesda "clunkiness" that comes with it, along with the basic combat system. But there is just enough variety to keep combat interesting for different enemy types. Only 20 hours into this game but very impressed. If you want a massive game to dive into but are maybe put off by the price of a Breath of the Wild or a Mario Odyssey then this is a very solid alternative. I'm not saying Skyim is better than these two mentioned games, but for to scratch that itch of an immersive world that you can easily sink hundreds of hours into it's worth having, especially knowing that the price of this game will come down whereas it is unlikely the Mario or Zelda games ever will.
Received this as a birthday present and have loved playing it. Controls and game abilities are gradually introduced and built up at a great pace so you're not thrown in at the deep end and overwhelmed. The plot has (so far!) been really strong and the game offers lots of potential to go deeper and become more intricate if that is your interest, whilst the overall worldbuilding is superb - lots of in-game history and intrigue! My personal favourite side hobby has been checking out all the different books you can find, some being genuinely helpful and others simply funny additions. Great game that if it appeals you will probably find worth the price!
