The INKEY List Glycolic Acid Toner 100ml

If you have oily oily skin this is a MUST!! i absolutely love but keep in mind this is a very strong acid. I would recommend applying to clean skin/completely dry skin after cleansing, then follow with a gel moisturizer (i love versed dew point at target) and then using the CeraVe healing ointment and sleeping with it! i did this every night for the first month using to make sure i didn’t ruin my skin barrier! I got some stinging when first using but only lasted 10 min, and to be expected with such a strong acid. Overall will be repurchasing for a while! Works so well for me :))

Being someone with sensitive skin and new to chemical exfoliation I should've started with something milder, but I'm using this once a week and I think it works well for me like that. My skin gets a bit red right after application but it goes away after 10 to 15 minutes because I apply a very gentle soothing moisturizer on top. Recently I've noticed my skin isn't as red anymore, but I won't use it more than once a week and I don't think anyone should either since it's a bit harsh!I always wake up with smoother and brighter looking skin, which I love, so the process is worth it for me. Definitely recommend!

I bought this a week ago after wanting to look after my skin more this year. Already I am getting co compliments on how smooth my skin looks and it has reduced pores and minimised spots. I have quite spot prone skin and since using this my skin has cleared up and looks and feels so much smoother! Would 1000% recommend its very affordable as well so might as well give it a try!I use this alongside they're oat cleansing balm, hyaluronic acid serum and niacin amide serum. Couldn't recommend more

Excellent for mild acne prone skin

I decided to try out this toner after some research and after deciding to create a skin routine. (My previous skin routine consisted of one cleanser and nothing else! Not even a moisturizer or SPF!)This toner has made an amazing difference on my skin. I used to get the occasional few zits (probably hormonal), but this toner now immediately clears up my skin as soon as a pimple even attempts to make an appearance. As recommended on the bottle, I apply this at night only and after I use my Neutrogena Oil-Free cleanser (the basic, orange sacylic acid cleaner in the bottle-pump version). Note: This product WILL burn if you have any cuts or open, broken skin. Definitely recommend a patch test. The very first time I used this, I did feel a strong, brief burning sensation that lasted for a second (probably because I’ve never used glycolic acid or really anything other than that Neutrogena cleanser).I apply directly on my fingers and apply all over my face (vs wasting product on a cotton pad). So far so good!

For multipurpose use

I purchased this product because I was looking for a higher concentrated glycolic acid. I made a mist spray out of it with pineapple and papaya extract for extra natural exfoliation. I love this product because it has helped to reduce my ingrown hair and razor bumps in less than a week. I also use this as a natural deodorant as it helps to kill the bacteria that causes body odor. Lastly, I use this on my face as a toner. It cleared up my clogged pores and brightened my skin tone. I like this brand because it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my skin when I use it. The only thing is, I wish that they had a larger version of this because I use it pretty often.

Love Inkey List, but my skin didn’t…

Wanted to try Glycolic acid to treat some scarring I had from acne. Tried this once at night and my skin felt on fire the next day, very sensitive, dry (even though I have oily skin!). I would definitely patch test before trying your whole face with this as it seems quite strong. I wouldn’t say I have overly sensitive skin, but this just didn’t feel right to me. However I have heard Glycolic is good for shaving bumps so will try on my legs as they may be a little less sensitive…it won’t go to waste!

My new favourite

I’ve only used this once so far but I can already see a noticeable difference the following morning.I have quite large pores - especially visible under make up. Already I can see that they are not only less prominent but my skin is also super soft and hydrated.After the first application my skin looked brighter and the product did not feel harsh at all.I’m super excited to see what the results will be after continued use.Definitely my new favourite.

Not working for me

I didn't feel that this product worked for me. I already have deep & large pore on my nose & around my cheeks. When using this product, I notice that the pore look very obvious, bigger and noticeable. I didn't really see any improvement with my skin. I went back to a more expensive product that I buy from the brand Aesop, which helps to reduce the appearance on my pores and works better with another Inkey List product that I use that helps with hyperpigmentation. I made the mistake of using this with that hyperpigmentation product and it gave me really bad hyperpigmentation when there wasn't any before. I think this is the only Inkey List product that hasn't worked for me.

Overcoming Initial Hesitations - A Toner Worth the Wait

At the outset, I had a few concerns as there were a couple of instances where the toner caused slight tingling, despite a successful patch test. However, I'm pleased to share that my skin has since adapted well to it, and I now genuinely enjoy using this toner. It's remarkable how my skin has acclimated over time, allowing me to incorporate it seamlessly into my routine. The initial hesitation was definitely worth it, and I'm now reaping the benefits of this toner. It's become a staple I look forward to using regularly!
