The Lawn Mower 3.0 Plus - Groin & Body Hair Trimmer

This Manscaped Lawn Mower 3.0 Plus works very well for its intended use… To "save balls". What it's not is a straight edge trimmer to clean up your neckline or a beard trimmer. I did try to use it for these purposes, and although it did not work well in this capacity I cannot be disappointed because it was never advertised to be anything but a groin trimmer. As a groin trimmer, it works exceptionally well with it's adjustable comb to customize the closeness of the shave, the LED spotlight to illuminate the landing strip, and the rubber ribbed grips to allow for precision trimming without slipping. I am impressed with how quickly the trimmer charges in 90 minutes, and also the easy to read battery display on the handle. Being waterproof, this trimmer is easier than most to clean because I rinsed out thoroughly, which led to a more effective cleaning next time. Again, this is not the Swiss Army knives of trimmers, but it does extremely well at what it says it does. As a result I would recommend any man looking for a groin trimmer to look no further. 

In all honesty, this product is just ok. It’s important to note that in wet conditions (shower) the instructions state that the shaver will not get a close shave and in all honesty when wet, the device barely cuts, even with the guard on the shortest setting. Each guard adjusts in three separate positions, but the adjustments aren’t smooth and it’s easy to over shoot the adjustment and remove the comb by accident. The device is quiet, charges quick, and does work relatively well in dry conditions, but it is obvious that it is an early version of the product. I am sure the generation 4 and 5 have solved most if not all of these issues and I would recommend looking towards a newer model. USB C for charging is a great addition.

It feels a bit more premium in the hand, and perhaps my favorite improvement - the on/off is now a tactile button instead of being built into the trimmer. I received the Lawn Mower 3.0 Plus from Influenster for free in exchange for my honest review. My first impression is that it is lighter, smaller, and more quiet than electric razors I’ve had in the past. It has a rubber grip which makes it less likely to slip out of your hand, especially when using it in wet conditions. I like that the motor runs at a consistent speed, even when the battery is on the verge of dying. The light is also a really useful feature. I felt more comfortable using this product on more sensitive skin than any razor I’ve used in the past. Overall, I think this product works great and would recommend it to anyone looking for an electric razor.

Works just as it’s described! Doesn’t pull your hair or hurt you when trimming and it does a great job at it too! Extremely easy to clean and very easy to take apart the blade and guard. The noise isn’t too loud and bothersome and the built in flashlight is amazing and even better is that its all waterproof. It includes a detailed booklet on how it functions, how to clean it, charge it, turn the flash off, and even how you could safely shave with the metal part of the blade instead of the ceramic. Super easy to use and handle, would definitely trust a clumsy teen would be able to use this without getting hurt. Extremely worth it for the money (which isn’t much to begin with compared to other brands).

Another thing that is minor, is the fact that it includes a full charger and charging block in the packaging, which seems to be a rarity now. As for the actual trimmer, it is small, mighty, and light. It is also easy to use, with only one button to start and stop and fits will in your hand. Lastly, I love that it is super gentle, with or without the included size guards, so I did not have to worry about any nicks or cuts along the way. Let me start by saying if you’re trying to keep up with your “manscaping” this definitely makes things a lot easier. If you like to keep things trimmed and neat looking but not completely shaved this works great! The fact that it’s completely waterproof allows you to quickly groom in the shower and keep things under control. Firstly thank you Manscaped, for letting me try this for my honest opinion. I'm always having some or the other troubles with my current trimmer including burns, cuts bleeds and uneven hair. Not anymore. Feels like I have actually got te perfect trimmer, for taking care of the most sensitive area of my body. The best part is the maneuverability, it's very easy to hold, the shape is ergonomic and adjusts to the curves and bends of the body. The blades are quite sharp and do not leave hair behind. Overall it's pretty neat. Love the tagline - Smooth starts here.

I was looking for a replacement to my current trimmer because it couldn’t get the right length, it was either too short or too long and kinda looked awkward. The lawn mower 3.0 does the job pretty easy and I like the two included clips because I’m able to get the perfect length on my facial hair. It actually works pretty well in the downstairs area and I love the led light so I can actually see what I’m doing when it’s darker and it helps me to not miss any spots. Water proof is a huge plus too. The rubberized texture does feel kinda cheap, but I think it will hold up nicely over time. Not a bad product, does the job I need it to. I don’t have a ton of hair or super thick hair though, if you do it might be a different experience.

The Lawnmower 3.0 Plus by Manscaped is the best. The quality is good and it works great. The packaging is nice. This trimmer has everything you need to get the job done. It includes an LED spotlight, an LED power indicator, and had a universal USB-C charging port. I like that it features a SkinSafe blade so i can get a close and confident shave too. It also has up to 60 minutes of run time and a constant RPM motor that helps prevent the blade from slowing down as the battery drains which is great. It's waterproof, cordless, and pretty quiet when it runs. I highly recommend this product!
