For decades, The Legend of Zelda has been entertaining fans with its unique blend of swashbuckling action and role playing adventure. Now, the world of Link returns on the Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds continues this tale, bringing some unique elements to the fore. Thanks to the stereoscopic 3D capabilities there's another layer of depth to the world of the game that allows you to experience Link's adventures like never before. In the past, it may have been tricky to tell the difference between different floor levels, but now they are crystal clear, giving more realism to battle sequences and dungeon exploration! When you play The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, you'll not only encounter deadly dungeons and the usual epic landscapes of the series, but incredible puzzles to test your brain. As you negotiate the terrain, you'll also be able to move Link across walls as if he was painted on them, changing the perspective completely and allowing you to think about your next move in a another dimension.

A Must For Any Zelda Fan

If you’ve played Link to the Past, you’ll be relatively familiar with the map but Link Between Worlds really shakes it up nicely in its “dark world” (Lorule in this case). Plus the wall merging is a unique gameplay mechanic that leads to some fun and challenging puzzles. Would recommend for any Zelda fan that hasn’t played it before like me.

At least Link makes it into the title somewhere

My game arrived as advertised in "good condition" both cosmetically and functionally, with case and "manual".I am loving this installment to the Zelda franchise. It has a similar play and feel as "Link to the Past", but with new mechanics. Everything about this game is memorable. The world, setting, story, characters, style. This game keeps the Legend alive.

A Link Between worlds is unexpectedly the best 2D Zelda. I like lttp but I feel like other zeldas do what it does better, its not my favorite thats all. I loved links awakening, so it was hard to decide. But this is such a masterpiece. Narrative, gameplay, the rental system. I love how Ravio uses the rabbit reference from Lttp cleverly, it feels so natural. I like the idea of renting weapons, even if I just grind rupees and buy them anyway. The mechanics of the rentals, lorule, and painting link are some of the best in the series. A Link Between Worlds is a masterpiece, and the best game on the 3DS, highly recommend!!!

Great way to return to basics.

This is a zelda game, there’s not really much to say about it.This game has a new aesthetic look , but is design to be similar to a link to the past. The map is very similar, as well as the gameplay. This game offers 2 new things to the mix.The first is that it gives you the ability to become a 2d figure to stamp yourself to the walls to find hidden items or reach new places; this is the main gimmick of the game, which is a good addition that looks great on 3D.The other main change is that, instead of finding items in dungeons, they are all available from the start for lease or purchase. There’s this funny lad that appears in links home, and if you want to, you can rent any item that you might need on each dungeon, but you loose it if you die. Great xmas gift from santa to my son
27 December 2021

So my 7 year old gamer son. Didn't want another Wii game from Santa or some other modern game from Santa. He wanted specifically a SNES GAME: Legend of Zelda Link to the Past! Thankfully Santa was able to get it off ebay along with a booklet. And daddy has a SNES to play it on. It mystifies me why he wanted this old game, but I feel a little moved he likes retro games likes his dad. Merry Christmas!

I bought this game as a birthday gift for my husband. He recently purchased a Famicom disc system. Zelda is his favorite game series. This is incredible. Pure Zelda gold. The graphics are gorgeous and clear. The sounds are different than the US version, which we both love. And the gameplay is more advanced. Overall, just a beautiful, high quality game. The book was in perfect shape. The disc is very clean and not dented or scratched. Very happy with this purchase and the seller.

Link Between Worlds indicates that you've got to go back and forth through opposite realms to collect what you need to collect! Brilliant!

Link Between Worlds is an amazing and quite incredible game. I love it! The story, the characters, the graphics, the game play and all the rest, all of it absolutely fantastic! There is so much to do, to see and to discover! This and all Zelda games are for life. You can play all of them multiple times and never get tired or bored. Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable! 10 out of 10 and lots of golden stars!

Recently, I had bought myself
5 June 2022

Recently, I had bought myself a copy of “The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds” and although, I have not completed it yet, I am really enjoying it. The shipment was also very fast, and the cartridge was functional and clean. My only gripe would be that the case was a bit beat up; nicks in the plastic that holds the cover art, also the cover art was very wrinkled, like it may have had water on it at some point. But other than that, my experience with DKoldies was very positive.

Too easy, no more item discovery difficult in nonsense ways like mini games

It's a very good game, it's very difficult to mess up a Zelda game (unless you're Philips CDI.) Though, there are many problems. I am not going to say it's a terrible game, it isn't, but it just isn't a Zelda game. I have played almost every Zelda game ever made, and I can say with certainty Zelda has taken the fun out of collecting items. The whole collection thing was the best part of it. I just got all of the game's items up front from 'renting' it with the only stigma being that if you lose, you lose your items. This is quite simply unacceptable from a game franchise who's claim to fame was the classic fanfare and getting special items. Gone are those days. I have not played skyward sword, nor will I, because I read it had this same level of blandness where you ... MoreIt's a very good game, it's very difficult to mess up a Zelda game (unless you're Philips CDI.) I have not played skyward sword, nor will I, because I read it had this same level of blandness where you could just buy all of your items from a shop. Nintendo has stopped catering to gamers, especially hardcore gamers, and are now catering to just about anybody. THIS is why Nintendo is struggling. They have forgotten the gamers, and their wants, that made them great. They should stick to re-making their older games, because their new games flatly stink. I am sorry to say it, but Nintendo is going the way of Sega, taking their user base for granted and refusing to go back to the systems that worked. I only recommend this game for people who only want a lazy, casual experience and do not want any real challenge. I feel this way about most modern Nintendo games, including Mario galaxy and skyward sword, as well. As long as people keep giving mindless positive reviews about mediocre games, that's all we are ever going to get. Video games are more than visuals, they are about gameplay. Not everyone should immediately get to play a video game, it should take practice and skill. To this day I am still adept at the legend of Zelda ocarina of time's horseback archery, due to having to practice a very long time. They have taken away the pride of accomplishment. I think if we just keep lavishing these games with top scores for no reason, we're never going to see a good Zelda game again.

Zelda: Link to the Past SNES

I have always been a HUGE Zelda fan (from 1st ever to present) and have played them all. This game is not only Exciting, adventurous, and just a pure pleasure to play...but also riveting, spellbinding, and challenging. Much like all the others. It will take some long time play time to complete ..but that is what makes an excellent game. And this game keeps you going and going. You just want to stay up all night trying to complete it. Graphics are not 'state-of-the-art' but are excellent for this type of game. The story line is perfect and lengthy. Takes strategy and a good mind to figure out some of the puzzles and what to figure out what you need for some areas. The best thing is to try not to resort to the internet, etc for clues or walk throughs, try to figure it ... MoreI have always been a HUGE Zelda fan (from 1st ever to present) and have played them all.
