I don’t suffer from dandruff or dry scalp so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this. Around the time I received the serum I had just gotten my hair bleached. I’ve been blonde for over a decade and don’t have sensitive scalp at all but too high volume of developer was used and I ended up with bleach burns on my scalp. I had some pretty painful scabs and my hair follicles literally ached like they were constantly being pulled. Overall my scalp was very sore and dry. The overall soreness and pain subsided by morning each night I applied this. It kept my scalp hydrated and sped up the healing process. My scalp is healed now and I still do like the serum. I like that the applicator is small and pointed so I can easily get the serum applied right along my roots. When using it nightly I do notice that my hair gets greasy quite a bit faster than usual. So its probably not something that I would use every single night especially since I don’t actually suffer from dry scalp. But it is still a nice addition to my weekly hair care to keep my scalp hydrated and healthy and it’s definitely a huge relief if I were to experience any future scalp irritations or dryness.

It is recommended to use at night and it’s the perfect end to your night routine. This is a leave in!! Do not wash it out! Another benefit of this product is that it includes Hyaluronic Acid which helps maintain hydration. I have problems with my scalp feeling tight and being very dry, this helps clear that up and for a way better price than I had been paying for no results or my hair to be weighed down. The product is a milky white color, and spreads very easily with fingers or you can get a scalp massager which feels AMAZING while using in conjunction with this product. I have been using this daily with no weigh down and I even have been able to go longer without washing my hair, I used to have to wash daily, now I am able to go 5 days or more! I highly recommend this product due to low price and great results!

It recalls medical shampoo bottles you might use in a hospital setting. I was also not a huge fan of the lack of smell. The shampoo and conditioner have zero fragrance and although this may be a plus for many people, I must admit to having a preference for stronger scented shampoos and conditioners. However the products themselves worked wonders on my fine, longish straight hair. The shampoo cleansed remarkably well without making my hair feel overly stripped and the conditioner was moisturizing but not heavy which any fine haired folks know can be a real problem. The serum I'm happy to say does have a very light floral scent. I have been using it nightly, however not having a huge problem with a dry scalp, I can't speak to any definite results. However it may be highly beneficial for those with a dry or flaky scalp. I can say it doesn't make my hair feel greasy at all and it absorbs right in so you could even use it in the day time without a problem although the bottle indicates it's best as a nightly treatment. Overall the Ordinary Moisturizing Factors Shampoo and Conditioner scored well for me. I cant complain about the formulations at all and will be seeking out their other products, just packaging appeal and the lack of scent.

I love this scalp serum. I have a dry scalp that is extremely temperamental, I have serious issues with flaking and even sores at times. I have to use products just for scalp issues, I love this for hydration. It revives the hydration in my scalp after I use my scalp scrubs and pairs perfectly with them. it also helps with a little moisture boost after shampoo. I do still have to pair this with a serum that uses salicylic acid and niacinamide and ingredients for sebum control but this works beautifully paired with those. You do need to be careful, I kept ending up with very oily hair and couldn't figure out why, I would have to re-rinse my hair. I finally figured out it was this serum, a little goes a long ways so don't overdo it, if you use the right amount it will ... MoreI love this scalp serum. The hair care products are amazing. I have been looking for something that cleans my hair and leaves my hair soft and full .It Is fragrance free so I can't tell you that it smells good . I can say it doesn't leave a sticky residue in my hair like alot of products do . It's gentle on your body also . These products are so easy to use. Good, but for a tradeoff

I bought this since I have awful dandruff issues and I'm kind of desperate for a solution. I've been using this in combination with another hair oil and anti dandruff shampoo. Immediately on the first use, I noticed a massive difference in my dandruff. I would normally wake up with a pile on my pillow, now it's a much much smaller pile. However omg it makes my scalp so oily. I noticed it the first time and wasn't too concerned, but I washed my hair and used it last night and in less than 12 hours my roots feel like I haven't washed my hair in 5-6 days. It's insane. Maybe it's reacting in combination with my other oil or I'm applying it wrong, so I'll experiment and see what's up with that. Serum to get Hydrated Hair

My scalp is highly sensitive to oils and I get acnes on my face.. I use this serum daily as I have a dryer scalp than the average person. I absolutely love the hydration aspect of it! The only problem I have yet to solve for is the correct amount to use. I don’t feel as though “a few drops” gets the job done as the instructions say because this soaks up quickly and doesn’t really spread out like a scalp oil would. However, if I separate my hair into rows and apply along my scalp it seems to create a greasy like look (maybe too much product?). So I’ve kept with the row based separation approach and only apply 3 drops along the scalp and it seems to apply good hydration without creating the look of being greasy. With that, however, it is marketed as a scalp hydration product and it most definitely does exactly that! I have gone from having a moderately itchy scalp with regular dandruff to virtually no itchiness and absolutely no dandruff whatsoever. Will certainly keep this in my regular rotation.
