This nice room thermometer gives you basic information in a simple digital display that is easy to read. Low and high values for both humidity and temperature. I have recently noticed that, compared to two years ago, it is quite faster for the vegetable scraps in a bowl to get mouldy in the kitchen, and the moss on the driveway can sprawl and reappear much faster. The recent climate change I sense in the air of the place where I am from, especially in the normal pattern of humidity, has made it much more important than ever to keep an eye on the hygrometer. I guess for years I thought about purchasing this type of product because I felt the air in the house was too dry especially with the heat on in the cold weather. The product not only gives me humidity reading but alerts me of the difference in temperature from room to room in the house. Haven't seen the readings with the air on in hot weather, but plan on learning more about the temp and humidity readings throughout the house when summer arrives. From my use, I would recommend this product to those interested. It is a good value and so far has proven to be a pretty good quality product too.

Bought this as sometimes keeping the windows open here in Florida seems more humid inside the house than outside. Anyhow it seems to work nicely. Humidity is close to what the weather reports say, but doesn't seem close enough - I know the surrounding environment plays into the percentages so maybe its ok. I keep it stuck to a decorative metal beam near my computer that holds my roof up, and hopefully holds it down too if a hurricane comes by.Put a picture or two below. I only wanted to see the temp but have found that the min-max feature to be an added bonus. I left it in my car for a day and it logged a high of 130F. This one went in my workshop where I occasionally have small projects to paint. With temp and humidity displayed I can know in an instant if I can paint. The magnet on the back came in handy when mounting. I was looking for a place to hang it and ended up sticking it on the side of my tool cabinet. It's just a small thermometer but the price for what you get makes it a good buy. My mutt has a thermostatically controlled heater in her house but when it gets bitter cold I want to know if it's not able to keep up, and these thermometers are great for that. .
No big deal, it's a thermometer reasonably priced. I bought it mainly to check our only other thermometer (Furnace and AC Thermostat Thermometer). It agrees within a few tenths, so assume they are both correct. Interesting to see humidify in the house also (was in a healthy range). I also use it outside on the porch (not in a rain area) to check outside temperature as we do not have any other outside thermometer. It appears to be correct, but did question it the other day as it read 93F and TV for Knoxville (20 miles away) was showing upper 80sF. The thermometer was in the shade so not affected by direct sun.
Needed a portable Hygrometer Monitor to monitor the moisture in our utility & also other rooms too. I left this by the dehumidifier which also has a monitor. In winter we can't hang the washing out as it doesn't dry. We have an internal drying line so there is more moisture in the air. We have a tumble drier but a lot of clothes can't be tumble dried. I am able to check the moisture levels in different rooms so it's very useful & accurate as you can see by the photo. A good buy for the price.
I’ve had a damp problem in my home which I’ve needed to tackle. I wanted to work out how sever and what my working temperatures were before investing in a dehumidifier. This device is perfect fir that and has really helped the process.Fortunately I have another hygrometer at work that I could reference it against; their readings were identical. Confident it was accurate, U brought it home. Fast forward a few weeks and my home is now comfortably dry and my health problems I was experiencing are now clearing up...thanks in no small part to this!Highly recommended!
Bought four at the same time. Tested the hygrometers using salt and water calibration. Tested thermometer against a known accurate thermometer. All four display the exact same temp and humidity when placed in an area together. Seem to be very consistent.
now I have to say I have got 8 of these so far and came back and got 4 more just the other day . my friend and I both like them I gave him two for xmas gift .. now lets take a good look .. one cost . these are priced fair for what they are .. you get what you pay for ... simple design . what I was looking for is simple . I got a lot of things that take hours to set up and that gets to be a real pain in the you know what after a few times .. not with these ! ... I set then and they work .. now some of the replies here said they don't all read the same or some are off a few 10ths of a degree . that would most likely be a normal range of variation ,as a X navy Quarter Master trained in weather ops . I don't work for this company and I am not paid for my review I did this review because I out right enjoy the product and it saves me a lot of money and time ..and when your not wasting your money and time your not fighting with all the things that could have gone wrong because the item did what it should ...works and work well ! 100% cost effective !if you want to try a few other types I have a box full of junk that never lasted or just stopped working and cost me time and money , but these every one is still working correctly and that is why I wrote this review , thank you for making a great product !
