I started lifting weights 8 months ago. I’ve lost weight and gained muscle, so had to increase intensity recently and switch up my routine. As a result I’ve been feeling fatigued post workout and soreness is at its worst two days post workout. Have had this after workouts and it seems to help. Nothing to complain about yet as it tastes good (not sickly sweet), mixes with water well and has a good ingredients list. I’m going to try having it during workout and see if there’s any further difference. Overall I think this is a quality product and you can’t go wrong. Great, amazing, excellent composition. Suitable for many different diets, and their restrictions and requirements. Great, amazing, excellent serving size and packaging. I recently tried Thorne's Amino Complex in the Lemon flavor, and my experience was fairly neutral. The product came in a well-sealed container, and the lemon flavor was pleasant. However, I didn't notice any significant improvements in my workout performance or recovery after using this product. The mixability was decent, but the taste was slightly artificial. The price point is higher compared to other amino acid supplements. Overall, while the Thorne Amino Complex is decent, it didn't provide any remarkable benefits for me personally. Individual results may vary, so it's worth trying if you're seeking an amino acid supplement.
The ‘new formula’ flavour, at least in the lemon option, sucks. Its horribly sweet. The original formula was much more subtle, like a lighter version of gatorade. This tastes like that gatorade with a good teaspoon of stevia added for some reason.Aside from that, the benefits are great. Definitely notice it when on 50km+ rides where my muscles start to fatigue. This stuff helps keep the power on at the point where I usually start to lag.Thorne - please just change the recipe back!
