After having been using it for about 6 weeks, it seems it is working well for my back pain. I have used other good brands before, but this specific one has "sustained-released", and I do not know whether it is psychological or not, but the benefit seems to last the entire day until I take the second capsule in the evening. The other brands I have tried (which do not have "sustained-released" solution) seem to fade away much faster. Thorne is really expensive in my view, far too expensive to be honest, but for my specific situation it looks like the benefits may indeed justify the additional investment. Curious to see how it develops in the coming months.

It is a strong antioxidants long release supplement, considered between the best quality on the market. I did feel some benefit and improvement in the overactive immune system, inflammation, and cognitive state after taking pill a day. Claimed to help pain and joint health as well. The package is big enough for long time. Would recommend.
From what I've read, this form of turmeric is more readily useable in the body since it contains a phospholoipid component that helps with absorption. Its hard to know if this does help with inflammation becuse there are few solid scientific studies about it.Good packaging. Easy to swallow.
After visiting numerous rheumatologists to address pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis and being given different antiflammatory medications my husband saw a Naturopath who recommended Meriva many years ago. Meriva was so effective at relieving his symptoms that he has continued taking it. We have had to change suppliers a few times but are grateful it is still available because he is very pleased with Meriva’s effectiveness.
Most of it is just tumeric stuff into a capsule. You get nowhere near the amount of curcumin you need to actually get the benefits. Thorne is the best that I could find that has been researched to some degree, supplement industry needs to be regulated but this is the best we can do. With 2 tablets you get the lower end range of recommended curcumin dosage that has been shown in studies to have anti inflammatory effects. I took 2 tablets per day to help get over neck and shoulder pains I was having and while it is completely anecdotal I do feel like this products helped in getting over the injuries and aches quick than I usually do.
I decided to try Thorne because I had read reviews about the quality of ingredients and brand approach to making high-grade supplements that can be maximally absorbed by the body. I take it for addressing inflammation and joint pain. There is no taste and I have taken it with or without food and not noticed any side effects. I will keep trying this for a few months so see if I will switch to the brand permanently. So far so good!
