I don't know where to begin with this review, i suppose i will start with the product its self and its not good, i bought my first wheel it came with a resealed box that clearly had been opened before, the wheel turned out faulty and a new one was sent promptly.Now in scans defense i believe them when they say they do not knowingly sell used goods however i am afraid this is exactly what it looks like due to the seals been broken and resealed, how ever not confirmed they are indeed used! or refurbed.maybe there is a good explanation as to why they have been opened but none provided as of yetThey are currently investigating the manufacturer as to why this has happened and shouldn't be reflected on them as a company, scan have provided very fast responses and ... TX and T300 servo bases have practicaly identical mechanism so the same smooth clear nice FFB. I mean great feedback. And I had also in my possesion T500rs and tspc racer which are more strong. But they should improve the thermal design of the wheelbase. So many problems that can be avoided. I still do believe one should buy it despite the bad reputation. The tx leather edition has a great rim, really nice leather feeling which is way betterbthan the 458 italia edition which is far more plasticky than it should ar the price point. So if you buy, upgrade firmware and when driving keep the internal fan always on (mode&button 8) to make sure your wheel base has adequate cooling from the beginning of the session. Once it gets hot problems occur..

I feel that for $300 thrustmaster can give you a much better written than what comes with it. Many people also complain about the pedals, I have had zero problems with them and I think they're actually quite good for starter pedals, however, I do think they should at least give you a clutch with them, that being said they have ad on pedal set so you can get them that has a clutch pedal on them ( which I think I will also mean end up getting one ) if you were leery about making this purchase, I would recommend buying an extended warranty through Walmart just to be on the safe side, and definitely purchasing this wheel. It is a fantastic will that will keep you entertained for many months to come.
This is my first steering wheel controller and I'm so glad I have it. I was in awe at how much more fun it was playing Forza Horizon 5 with it. And I was grateful that B&H had it in stock after striking out at several other online ordering stores. They had it at a good price and shipped it to me very quickly. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase.

The Leather wheel feels great to hold and is easy to grip; the metal shifters feel great also, providing a decent “click” feel when shifting. I purchased the Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition for iRacing. I couldn't be happier with the product. It was extremely easy to set up and is a ton of fun to use. It is solidly constructed and performs as expected. I did my research and decided on a belt-drive versus gear-drive wheel. My Thrustmaster wheel is smooth and accurate and makes you feel as if you are actually in the race car. The force feedback mechanism is also very good...when I go off course or spin, the wheel reacts as I would expect it to. If you are serious about iRacing or racing-related video games, this rig won't disappoint.

Pedal base is solid, and a low CG. On wood floors, it does not move around much unless you really get on the brakes (with the cone installed). I just put a piece of Velcro on the floor and it worked like a charm for those late brake entries.Things I wish were done better... The wheel D-pad is small and in an awkward location... the push button hats feel a bit cheap and don't offer much space for labeling functions as needed when switching between vehicles and sims. It would be SUPER if they could be back-lit since I run my sim in low ambient light levels. The rotary button isn't the best interface, its a little stiff for the type of knob they put on it. Perhaps a paddle or some knurls would probably fix that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get a quality wheel that is a significant step up from the cheap stuff.
