Thursday Plantation - Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne - 25g

This product was sent to me for free in a sample box and in combination with the face wash, my skin has never felt so good. I have a major problem with picking at my face (which is why you see some redness in the photo), and this routine has made me feel like I don’t have to go over every pore anymore. The tea tree oil smell takes some getting used to, but I have grown to love the tingly sensation it gives. I do recommend waiting for it to absorb completely on the spots you dab it on (I used it as a spot treatment but used a generous amount ), before applying your moisturizers. I like products that last 9-12 months. But if you only used it for when you have a breakout spot, it may last longer! All in all I love it and may decide to purchase another tube depending on the price!

I. love. these. products! I had never heard of Thursday Plantation until Influenster sent me a box of their stuff to try out.. and now I am hooked! I have already ordered more facewash and toner. 🥰 The facewash is light and foamy and makes my skin feel very refreshed! The medicated acne gel is some strong $#!+.. it has no benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, just tea tree oil, but that is all the power one zit needs! I had no idea how much I would love tea tree oil, but these are my go to pimple killers now! 😙👊 9/10 would recommend! Point deducted only because of the way the tea tree oil makes my eyes water (it's that strong), but I just kinda feel like it's doing it's job if that's happening, lol. Still hooked. I received this medicated acne gel complementary through a VoxBox. I have combo/oily skin, and get pimples underneath the top layer of skin so they cannot be popped. I usually use a salicylic cream or patch, but tried this instead. The medicated gel definitely dried out the pimple.. but a little too well. The entire area that I applied the medicated gel (yes I moisturized) turned into a hard red patch that is very painful to the touch. I have not experienced this before in an acne product. Arguably, the pimples now look worse than they did before because they’re big red patches. I’m sure this product would work for some people, but my skin is just not the right type to interact with this product. I would not recommend to my friends.

The box is a green leafy theme which is nice ,i was excited to try this as I have acne from my condition we're I am sweating all the time. I am not sensitive to scent,but the 2 products I received which was the foaming facial wash and acne spot treatnent is VERY strong. It smells very chemically, medicated which it stated that it is. but it's so overpowering that I cannot use this product, it burns my eyes and it is just way to strong. If it didn't have a scent I would of been happy to keep using but it's not a good match for me. I suffer from hormonal, cystic acne as an adult. My skin is oily and can be sensitive. I find this spot treatment effective for inflammation and severity of recurring and new pimples. It has a very strong smell overall. The smell reminds me of tea tree oil with a medicated twist. I recommend using this before bed. Your skin may become clearer since it sits on your skin while you sleep. It’s lightweight and takes about 3-4 application of the product to dry out your skin. As a whole, it helps to speed up the healing process. It’s definitely a hit and miss for most people depending on your skin and the reaction to the product.

I've been thrilled with the results after using for few days of use, my skin is less oily and my blemishes are starting to clear. I highly recommend this for acne prone skin. consistency is perfect for application. It also works to get rid of pesky pimples and other skin irritations, but doesn’t cause burns on sensitive skin like pure tea tree can. My skin is oily and sensitive, so finding products that work without being too harsh is a nightmare. Most products for oily/spot-prone skin are the skincare equivalent of Howitzers. I recently received Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel For Acne as a sample to try from influencer Voxbox. #gotitfree. The first thing that I liked about it, is that it comes in a bottle that you can squeeze on your finger and place on the focused spot. Ideal for whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and acne. I like that I could use this in the morning or at night but I mostly use it at night so it can be good in the morning. I notice a great difference in my skin after using this product and I love it. I love that the smell is not too strong and it works really well on my skin. I would recommend this product to anyone. #influenster @Influenster #voxbox
